Galena Farms wooden frames are light weight and made from New Zealand Pine. They are fitted with CellTech plastic foundations that have been dipped in 100% bees wax. Every frame is measured precisely to the standard Langstroth deep frame size (9-1/8" x 19? x 1-3/8"). This means they can be used on both 8 or 10 frame Langstroth hives. The black foundations make it is easier for you to inspect the brood in the hives against the black background.

Product was pretty good quality. I only found one broken frame piece but fortunately an extra was put in on accident. The shippers as usual throw the boxes around so almost every foundation is chipped or broken slightly. I say usual because where I am in rural Idaho every single thing we order is damaged by the time it gets here.
