A little Voodoo and Presto!
Have an 03 Crown Vic P71 with167,000 miles.... trany works fine, just keeps getting confused which gear it should be in 3rd or 4th when going between 40 and 55 m.p.h. with OD on or off. Three mechanics including Ford dealer scanned it and found no error codes but all said I should replace trany at between 2000 to over 4000 dollars reguardless. Decided I had nothing to loose but vast amounts of money and more hair and did a Hail Marry and bought some Lucas Trans Fix. After removing a quart of trany fluid I put in the Lucas and the results were immediate....it was now much worse so I opted not to panic and give it some more time and miles to do its thing. 300 miles later and another 1/2 bottle added something happened,  the problems vanished after driving only a few minutes (warm up time) the transmission is performing as it should...or it may have heard me when I said this better fix it or down the road you go....funny how that happens isn't it?

Helped My '05 VW Touareg

I bought a 2005 Volkswagen Touareg with transmission issues, and 155,000 miles. The maintenance on the transmission had been neglected, as the fluid was black and gunky when I drained it. I filled it up with fresh fluid and a new filter. Upon doing so, it made the transmission worse. It would have a very hard time changing gears, and would die out most of the time. I would have to ease off the gas to slowly allow the gear to change, which most of the time it wouldn't. After draining a quart and adding the Lucas, I didn't notice anything - at first. After about driving it around 10 miles a day for a about a week (70 miles), one day it just started shifting buttery smooth! It gave me the confidence to eventually drive further everyday. I know this is just a temporary fix for the time being, but I was amazed at the results and wanted to share. Give it a shot, and give it about 100 miles driving to see results.

1. Cookie, use this oil any time. Never over fill. Try putting a big piece of cardboard under the car to check for leaks. If you have used this you know it flow like honey. I mix mine with generic oil, then store in a bottle for adding to keep the level full.

1. This product is for transmissions. You'll need to look for an engine oil product.

1. You have to drain it a little if the fluid level is at the max. NEVER OVERFILL ANY OF YOUR FLUID LEVELS ! The best is to add this at a fluid change as many times your fluid is burnt and dirty anyway and a change would be advisable . Unless you have a device to remove some fluid from the dipstick , a pan drain is necessary anyway and changing the fluid is only an additional step.
