Nice little ac.
I bought this for my bedroom that is 13x 10 almost 2 years ago. It does a very good job of cooling. I'm sure it could handle a room twice this size. It is a bit loud on this small space but it's not a harsh sound. I put foam curtains ( inside facing the room) on both sides because it helps with insulation.DarlynOzzy

Quickly rusted
I only had the air conditioner for a month and a half when I noticed a large patch of rust on the back. It later spread to the inside, and the rust started staining the house exterior and I had to return it for a refund. I've never seen an ac rust so quickly!AJManley
- 5 out of 5 stars review8/25/2022Hot in the Connecticut Tobacco Valley in SummerI bought my LG AC at the beginning of the Summer knowing it was going to be a hot one. I have an LG TV and it is the best TV I have ever owned. So, I figured the AC's must be good, too. I live in a duplex and my part of the house is not large and I mostly need the AC at night. Well, I was right. I sleep like a baby, cool and comfortable. The thermostat is perfect and keeps my bedroom at an even 66 degrees all night long. I have a northern breed dog - a Finish Lapphund - and he pretty much lives by the AC most of the time. The LG Customer Service Line is always available, and the people are wonderful. I will continue to buy more LG products as time goes on.SHayes

- 5 out of 5 stars review7/5/2022Great price for the performanceInstalled it about a week ago, and so far exceeds expectations. Can't see much of an increase in our electrical usage. We run this more than the old much larger a/c it replaced, but this one is evidently much more efficient. It cools our bedroom very well, though the bedroom is slightly larger than what the a/c is rated for. It even cools the adjoining living room fairly well. Like the power saver mode, even though it cuts off the compressor and fan when set temp is reached, it turns the fan back on every three minutes. Instructions say it has to do this to sample a correct temperature reading. It goes off again after a few seconds if the compressor doesn't have to come on again. Overall, satisfied with the purchase, usually LG prod...triggerracing
