Dont waste your money
like everybody else is saying, it isnt loud at all. sounds no different than just my regular tv speakers. and theres literally no bass from the woofer. also cant pair it with your tv remote like vizio, so you have to have both soundbar and tv remotes with you at all times.

once I found the operating instructions for the remote I started to explore the units capabilities. I'm impressed with the flexibility of this sound sytem. Using the ASC button to go between regular TV and then to movies where I added the cinema button I was very impressed with the quality of sound. Great unit. This is a great system for $99.99. Essentially, this is almost the same as LG SH3K system that has pretty good user ratings. It gets plenty loud both via Bluetooth connected to my phone and via TV's optical cable. For those not getting good volume via optical cable, you gotta play around with your TV's settings like disabling your TV's own speakers and select Dolby DTS decoding. The 2 downsides are 1) limited instructions in the manual and 2) lack of HDMI ARC, but this is only $100, so I ended up giving it a 5 star rating regardless.

Wonder Bar

I purchased this as a Black Friday/Thanksgiving deal. For the price, $99, it is a vast improvement over the Craig sound bar I replaced. Super easy to install. I was very impressed the quality of the bass sub woofer. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Much Happier than Other Reviewers

I was super excited when I saw this listed in the Black Friday sale. My tv is a basic Sony Bravia that is around 6 years old and the sound is just awful; I need a volume setting of 50 for most shows. I spent the literal 5 minutes hooking it up today and removing it from the box was half the job. It was a super easy setup and I am absolutely blown away by my difference in sound; cinema mode is beyond great. I have to believe that some of the low ratings are in comparison to those who have TVs with great audio to begin with. I can be picky; it is not the sleekest of designs and it is odd to not have a volume indicator. Beyond that, I am more than happy with this purchase. My only fear now is of when it does break one day, because I have been spoiled enough in the last few hours that I have no desire to watch tv without it anymore. Especially at the BF price, if I had the money to throw around, I would get an additional one for all of my TV's.

Bought this on Black Friday the Bluetooth sounded good the optical in blah.... So I recommend using the aux port about twice as loud? I don't know if it's the cheap optical cable or my TV but way louder using portable auxiliary port just thought I would help others out. Oh and I'm able to control the volume with my controller now as well.

Not enough outputs

I just purchased this last night (Black Friday). I was trying to set it up, they could have done better with the inputs. It should have been installed with hdmi in addition to USB, optical and a 3.5 mm input. My tv is not optical ready so I have to find some adapters to get my soundbar connected. I have to add that the bluetooth works great with my cell.

Don't bother with this.

This setup is awful. It sounds good though Bluetooth though my phone playing music, optical hookup is horrible. Maybe the optical cable is low quality. There's barely a quarter of the volume level through the optical cable versus Bluetooth. Using a 3.5mm headphone cable is better, but not great. Using a 3.5mm you lose the functionality of using the TV remote to control the volume. I didn't buy it to use the remote that came with it to control it. I've been using a $30 Cyber Acoustic computer speaker system that is 30 watts and it's comparable to this "300 watt" system, though yes, the bass is better though this, but not normal audio. I bought one for myself, and one for my mother with the same TV for Christmas. I guess both will be going back, and I get to search for something else from another manufacturer, thanks a lot LG. Don't bother replying and asking if there's anything you can do to help, don't think you can. You get what you pay for.

Hey Chad, thank you for your feedback. I hate to hear you were not satisfied with your soundbar purchase due to the optical hookup not working great for you. I can understand how frustrating this may be for you. I would love to see your rating go up. damaged

I bought this on black Friday, I had to wait 2 weeks for them to ship it and it arrived damaged. The far right speaker looks like it melted and cracked inside the socket. I was excited about buying this, but looks like I should have bought the Samsung instead.
