Havn't built lego in like 7 years, but was so much fun. Anyone could figure it out. A couple parts of the build felt a bit repetitive. But for the most part ot was very entertaining build. All the detailing was great and was very messy like haan and the ship in the movies. Chewys crossbow thingamabober is sick! The only thing is, is that there is very (well "very" if u r trying to b picky) big gaps betwen the pieces that fold down and up the allow u 2 play in the inside. It would have been nice of it all fit perfect. And the inside if the center of the ship (like not the whole inside but the part where the gunners r supposed 2 go under the turret flap) kinda sucks. But super awesome super fun. Tganks lego i want the big ucs one so bad :)

Great looking kit and fun to build

I build this over a few evenings and had great fun doing so. The build is interesting and unlike anything else I have made so far. This is mainly because of the way the circular structure of the ship is made. There are lots of interesting ideas at play in this kit and it was fun seeing how it goes together. The kit comes with plenty of figures including a good chunk of the key Force Awakens characters. The ship looks great on the outside but also has a detailed interior. There is also plenty of space to stand figures inside the ship. I plan to use it to store all of my star wars advent calendar figures. I think this is certainly a centre piece of the star wars sets and is big enough to give a someone plenty to play with. The only thing I wished this kit to had would be some led lighting for the cockpit and exhaust.

    Chewie, where home.

This is by far the biggest and best LEGO Star Wars set I have had the pleasure to build and as an avid Star Wars fan I'm so glad to own this set. Got it for Christmas but didn't get to build it until the 30th, needless to say I was itching to get started for days. It's a challenging build but I managed to tackle it in about 5 hours with almost non stop building. I can't really comment on the build other than to say I was impressed by the LEGO designers use of materials to reproduce the classic falcon shape but they have had a couple of opportunities practice in the past. The mini figures are about right but I would perhaps not have included the Kanji Klub gang members. The best LEGO Star Wars set in my collection by far. LEGO, well done!

The coolest hunk of bricks in the galaxy.

As I write this review, the awesome set sits next to me. there are many things I like about this set starting with... The Minifigures: Han Solo. This old version of Han is quite cool. As he said in the movie, It's a new jacket. Chewbacca. The Minifigure used in this set first seen in 2014. he's the same but with a new blaster. Rey. Her Minifigure is the same as the one in set 75099 Rey's speeder. Except she has a silver blaster pistol instead of her staff and no hood. Finn. For a rogue Stormtrooper, he looks cool in Poe's jacket. Tasu leech. there's not much to say about this Minifigure. Kanjiklub gang member. long name short say. BB-8. this cute astromech from star wars, the force awakens is built from two unique pieces made just for this ''brick-figure'' The Set: This set is quite bulky and looks really cool I would like to list all the features: The weapons. Han's pistol, Chewbacca's bowcaster, Rey's pistol, Finn's First order blaster, Tasu's flint lock style pistol, the Kanjiklub gang member's rifle and built-in weapons on the falcon (top-and-bottom cannons and two spring-loaded shooters). the model. It has a cockpit, a sitting area with a holo-chess table, the famous smugglers hold, the hyper-drive and the top-and-bottom cannons (as said above) thanks for reading! kingoffire6873 ;-)

    Nice re-make.

Overall, this set was a pleasure to put together. It is well constructed with technic pieces holding it all together. The ship is sturdy enough for play, if that's a prioirty. Pros: This model has much better detail than the original build. Although there was some repetition, Lego did a great job breaking up the building instructions to minimize the the feel of repition. Mini figures are nice and have great detail. Cons: the gunner section is less detailed than the original, which is unfortunate. I could have gone without the two gang member minifigures.

The Force Is Strong w/ This One

I have always been a fan of the Millennium Falcon and since the Apollo Saturn V was not available at the time, I decided to pick this up instead since I was in the mood for a build. I had previously built a Y-Wing and figured that at 1,300+ pieces, this would be a good intermediate build for me since I have never built anything that large. I had seen this kit on display before, and was not a fan of how the body of the ship was designed... those fears quickly dissolved once I started building, and saw how solid the design was as I built the ship. My one problem is that the "smuggler's hold" kept falling out. I solved that problem by using a few of the leftover extra parts to make a tighter fit. I've moved the model a few times since then, and the part has not fallen out. Problem solved. I also deviated slightly from the instructions in a few areas. Since I had a some left over parts from this and other builds, in the spirit of how the designers at ILM created the models for the original films, I did a little kit bashing on the exterior parts that open up, adding a little extra detail to the exterior. The other mod was: I had to put Han and Chewie in the cockpit, and because Chewie was too big, that took some work. I had to remove Chewie's legs and attach two little pieces under his body so he would stick, and I had to pry one of his arms off... but as a fan of the original films, there was no other way to set up the minifigs. All in all, this was a fun build, and I highly recommend it. Next stop, Apollo Saturn V...

This build was very cool. I loved building the set. It didn't take me long but I watched a couple Star Wars movies while building it. I won't go into detail about the set as there are a few who have done that and I completely agree with their write up. I do have more detailed pictures that you may enjoy. I did find that I was able to get Chewie to fit inside the cockpit with a bit of fiddling. *see picture* I will say that there was one piece missing but LEGO's customer service rocks and I'm sure they will be shipping out the piece to me soon :)

She's got it where it counts kid!

I have to say this is one of the best LGO Star Wars sets I have had the pleasure to build/own. It was a challenging build but didn't stretch me too much and the end result was well worth it. I have a sneeking suspicion that the original design 7965 isn't a big departure from the current design but I'm sure LEGO have made some great additional details. The mini figures are great but the Kanji Klub members I'm not sure about. The older version of Han Solo is great but Chewy never seems to age. Overall I'm impressed by this set.

    Millenium Falcón For The Win

This set was totally awesome to build and love a lot of the small detail inside! The minifigs also where awesome

    Most detailed set I've seen

this set is full of surprises. It has 6 mini figures including bb8. I just loved how detailed and interactive this set was with the moveable guns, opening ship, firing the Guns, and many different more detailsthat arnt in the first one. My only problem is one of the bottem compartments comes out easily but it's ok.
