Perfect for my Iphone Lego Case!
Very Much Worth It
Hi, I went with the mirco series because I live in a small apartment with a 3 yr old... where the full size version would not do... not yet :D I just got my micro millennium falcon and was very surprised with the details considering it comes from a small package. My daughter and I are having fun playing with it. Build wise as with any other "Lego" I have encountered the instructions were very clear and easy enough to follow, A slight "con" for me is the flick missile for this model of which I am not a fan of. I would have preferred the quad lasers ....again not a big deal, I had spare parts and built it anyway, I am posting pictures below let me know what you think. Thanks
Star Wars and Legos, nuff said!
If your kid is into Legos and Star Wars then you can't go wrong with this pretty cool item. It's easy for them to build and then play with. My little boy loves it. Very happy with the product and highly recommend it.
Fan HAVE TO HAVE piece
Well, as a LEGO and Star Wars fan for 23 years and Millenium Falcon as my favorite spaceship of the brand, this piece is a pretty have to have in my collection. As long as i can't buy the big one, this one will do ok. In my opinion, this is a collectors piece, not one you'll play arround with. The Han Solo minifig is awsome and the details for a such small spaceship are huge.
A little corker
I did not fully appreciate this little set until it was built and in my hand. For what it is it is surprisingly sturdy, highly detailed and has a lovely weight to it. it's as good a deformed set as you could want and clearly has had a lot of thought and care placed into it's design. For it's small number of pieces, it had eight spares! That's not bad going at all. The flick missiles are a bit rubbish, as there is little room to get behind them and flick (!) and I would have been tempted to add a piece to blank off the cavity left when Han is not sat in it were I the set designer. Or go the whole hog, and add in a seat element, although it would need a re-design to incorporate that. Han himself is nice, with a double sided face, and is different from 7965... he looks grimly determined on one side, and has his trademark devil may care grin on the other! The vest and trousers are highly detailed, with pockets on the vest, and the low slung belt detail is also different from 7965. I think it is time they updated his wig, though - and personally I think there are better fits already in the Lego design catalogue. Is it worth £8.99? I think so, it is a small but pleasurable build with a great design, some nice hidden elements, a lovely minifigure, and a surprising heft to it!
Great beginner Lego set
This is a great introduction to Lego and Star Wars. Easy for younger age group.
Pleasurable little SW set
My personal feeling: it's the best one of this first wave of the new microfighters series! Highly detailled for the few pieces (hardly one hondred!), it represents also a possibility to have some play-fun. The quality is excellent but the ratio quality/price is as poor as all the other LEGO SW sets... Such a pity. :(
Absolutely the best in this little series, the tiny Falcon is adorable and looks fantastic sitting next to my 7965 Falcon :D
It's a cool set!
This Lego set has a good size for play, the minifigure sits in the cockpit which makes play more fun! I recommend this set for all lovers of the millennium falcon in an easy play size.
Excellent micro rendition of an amazing ship
The huge millennium falcon, with 1000+ pieces looks great, but is going to be beyond my reach for a while. But, this 97 piece version is probably at least as fun to play with, less interesting but still fun to build, and a fraction of the cost. It is small, cute, well detailed, has a cool mini fig and is so compact you could take it anywhere (almost, but not quite carried out). Seeing it on the shelf gives me a jolt of pleasure, yet at the same time, it is small enough that it is, in no way, daunting to take apart and put it together just for the fun of it (I can see myself doing this frequently enough that I may remember how to do it without the instructions). Two comments on the build: 1) I know they use a single 2x4 brick in the middle to add structural integrity, connecting a number of the pieces together in a solid way, but it does not relate to the interior of the vehicle. 2) at the same time, there are some small plates or cones that are completely obscured from view in the final build. So, either go for strength or hidden details, but the mix is a bit confusing. However, the above said, the model comes with a number of extra small detail pieces, which I used to remake the insides to represent the main cabin, without using the 2x4 brick. It still holds together fine, but I now get some cool hidden features that only I know are there. So if you want to go the mod route, there is, surprisingly, scope to do so.
