    cool fishing boat

1 month ago, in Spain, I was in a fishing boat like that, it's cool because it has a lot of space and (if you have other lego products) you can put things in the room inside because it is empty. the shark is cool too. you can put it at the end of the rope as if the boy just caught it. it's easy to build so I recommend it to novice or intermediate LEGO builders. Thanks for reading this.

    "Reel in" this Lego Set

I like this little set very much. It makes a nice addition to any coastal Lego city with a harbor. For the price I think you get a good amount of material. The boat is actually bigger than what I had originally imagined and has a nice balance to the smaller and larger boats your city might have in its fleet. I also like the fact that you are getting two mini figures for twenty dollars. Oh and yes it really does float :). Buy the Annabelle soon and take your playing experience to the tub!

Good idea and creative set of lego city

this is a good lego set because you can play well in water by his act of floating in water and that makes him a Great lego set

    Fishing Boat

This boat is great. I got it yesterday, very easy to build. It also floats!

A great gift for my grandson

I selected this Lego set to build with my 5 year old grandson during his visit. We both enjoyed building it together, and he had a very good time playing with it. The City series is terrific for younger children. When they see the more exotic stuff, like Ninjago or Atlantis, that is what they want, but once they build it, the city series is better for playing activity.

    Great Concept, But No Follow-Through

I am a huge fan of the LEGO City line and was very eager to get this set when it came out. Unfortunately it could not live up to the hype. It lacks the usual creativity and pizzazz of a LEGO set as it is pretty bland. Here are my pros and cons. Pros: -Nice piece colors and rarer elements. -Its good to see another "kid figure." -Has animals. -Actually floats and is easy to drain after use. Cons: -Extremely high price for so few parts. Though the boat chassis is one piece, it shouldn't add $10 to the overall price. -Very fast build, a beginner could finish it in under 5 minutes while an expert could do it in under 1. -It has minimal functionality with the exception of an antenne, opening shark jaws, and a flexible fishing rod. -The model has large gaps in walls giving it a less secure appearance. -There is minimal standing room for figures. The sets needs more for less... I would like to see LEGO revisit this idea again in a few years.

Great value for a great gift.

Got this on sale as a Christmas gift for my oldest nephew. Like all Lego sets, the quality and appeal are high.
Great 3 boys...9, 8 & 6 all are loving this fishing boat! Hours of fun!

    A great little boat

I bought this set as I head recently decided to locate my Lego town near the coast. This set consists of a boat, a man and a boy, and a shark. As a builder of a town, I found the shark superfluous, but if this is a first set, it does add to the number of potential play scenarios. The design of the boat is very nice. The area under the control platform isn't tall enough to build a cabin; you could raise it, but then the whole boat looks too tall and unstable. I just left it as it is and use it for storage. I like the details such as the lifejackets and the fishing rod. I would have liked to have seen a small ladder to get up to the control area, and maybe a couple more fish, but this is nitpicking. The build was very straightforward and the instructions were as clear as they always are. Overall, a nice medium sized set that is a great addition to any coastal town.

    Nice Set

I love this fishing boat. It was relatively easy to build so its good for any beginner lego builders. The details of the boat were pretty accurate. The place where the minifigs could sit and fish is a very relaxing place. It has a nice stand for the fishing pole where it can move up and down. It also has a small red cup which the fishermen can drink from while they're waiting for a catch. The control area on top of the boat is quite detailed and can fit 2 people (one standing, one sitting). The bottom of the boat was the only place i didn't like. it's the only not detailed part of the boat but it is a nice place to store fish and extra accessories. People who don't have this set should definitely buy it. It comes with 1 fish and two minifigures, father and son. Lastly, I just thought it was kind of wierd that they added a shark. I mean its cool and all but really?
