    Amazing Set!!!!

I got this set for my birthday and its such an awesome set!! I LOVE building so it was perfect for me. It took 6/7 hours to build. Anyway, these are the minifigs. Lagravis: A nice rare character. He has a happy face & a angry one. He comes with a nice staff. Laval: He is in a good amount of sets. He has a "bring it on" face & a happy one. He comes with a sword/ax. Longtooth: Way too common. He has a "whatever" face & a "Grr"one. He comes with a boomerang. Ewald: Another rare one. He has a regular face & a "Hmph"one. He comes with a nice dagger too. Cragger: He only comes in big sets so he was good in this set. He has a regular face & a sneaky one. He comes with his Vendagualize. His Vendagualize should have a black handle. Crawley: Another way too common guy. He has a "hee hee hee" face & a "Mwahaa...HELP!" face. Razar: An OK guy. He has a "I'm looking" face & a sneaky face. His golden chainsaw gives him the touch. The 2 claw bikes look uniform & destructive. The eagle drone looks like a spy plane, except that it is manned like a regular plane. Drone's aren't manned. The reptile raider looks sleek, uniform, destructive & sneaky. Now for the Lion CHI Temple. The lion "jawbridge" is cool. Lagravis's bedroom has a touch of gold. For the throne, you have to take Lagravis's cape off to sit him down. The CHI well & Laval's bedroom are awesome! The Lion CHI Temple looks good with a lot of sets! (Cragger's Command Ship,Croc Swamp Hideout,Worris's Combat Lair,Laval's Royal Fighter,Eris Eagle Intercepter & Gorzan's Gorilla Striker!) All those sets together make a Chima world,a Chima fan's dream! Pros: Almost everything! Cons: Craggers Vendagualize should have a black handle & Crawley should have a weapon. In all 10/10!! I totally recommend the Lion CHI Temple!!

    Worst Set of 2013

In 2013 I was super excited to get this set and I saved up all of my money, and even got it on sale. This may have been a mistake, because this is just about the worst set I own. There are no exclusive minifigures or parts, and wasn't the most famous or popular, so there isn't much collectible value. The price for the amount of pieces is just below average, and none of the pieces really stand out or are special, so it's not a great buy just for the pieces. Building it is a challenge, even for an experienced builder like me, because the model isn't all that strong. It can't be played with (easily) because it just falls apart. The set can't be displayed because it is too large to fit on shelves, and doesn't look great to begin with. It's hard to store without taking the whole thing apart. Most of the functions don't work that well. The bridge often comes off from the technic piece that's used to pull it. The eagle glider thing is small and the minifigure that stands on it makes it look bad. There's too much empty space in the whole main area. The lion head looks too spiky, but that could be said about many CHIMA sets. The front Lion head section looks strange when it's down off from the mane. I don't like that the small laser pieces that come out from behind the set don't shoot. The lion head section is pretty much a big wall which is basic and not great. I tried lifting this set from many different points but it almost always fell apart. I normally love sets that are buildings to add to my LEGO collection, but this just doesn't meet the mark.
My sons is in LOVE with Lego Chima. It has so many fun things to do. He associated this Tiger Temple with the cartoon! He kept saying look mom look mom. Ya I had to look out for flying pieces!! If you have a child who loves Lego Chima this is a MUST HAVE..
This is a awesome Lego set!!! There is a ton to do and takes a while to build which would keep my som occupied for a long time while teaching him patience and coordination of building various things!

My seven year old is having a blast building this

It's the most difficult set he has tried to build, and he has done it by himself, with only a little help from me, when some of the parts came loose. He's very proud of his accomplishment as he goes bag by bag and finishes them off. It keeps him from TV and video games, a big plus.

Looks very interesting and a challenge

I purchased this for my 8 yr. G/Son I'm so sure he is going to love this he loves a challenge, he finished a large Lego I purchased for him on his B/day and he put it together with no problem. It gave him hours of entertainment and when friends came over they were so quite putting it together you wouldn't know they were even there.

    Exellent toy!

My son liked this castle very much, he watches Chima on TV and we have the 3DS videogame, so he asked for this. The toy itself is very cool, and you have some lego figures along with it. We are very satisfied with this. Highly recommended for kids who love lego chima and building toys. (will need parent's help to build it).

Deliverd on time and great price

    Not up to expectations

We thought this would have a lot more to it. It is very open and breaks easily. The moving parks are cool but it just doesn't hold up to play. Very disappointed for the expense of the set.

    A good set

I got this set for my birthday, and this is a good set! Minifigures: Lagravis: Great armor and weapon. Laval: Great armor and excellent weapon. Longtooth: Nice minifigure but inferior weapon. Cragger: Great armor and good weapon. Crawley: OK but way too common. Ravar: Pretty good minifigure and OK weapon. Ewald: Nice that he is so rare and pretty good weapon. Claw bikes: Very good design and they are cool vehicles. Crocodile vehicle: Very good design too. Eagle vehicle: Nice little vehicle. The temple: Pros: Folding function. Jail cell. Golden chi. Laval's bedroom. Cannon tower. Chi colored elements. Closing mouth function and retractable gun function with little gun to pull out when the mouth is closed. Claw bike ejection function: Little entrances on the side pieces of the temple. Cons: Cannot load minifigures with big weapons onto the bikes for the ejection function. The main part of the temple is a little small. Overall this is a great set for a lego collector. It is even better when combined with Crawley's claw ripper and Worriz' combat lair. Overall, you should get this set, especially if you want to have it later on to play with the rhinos, scorpions, spiders, bats, and Lavertus. Get this set!
