I got this skateboard for my son. The best part are the wheels, they are Kryptonics soft wheels that help to glide on the asphalt like butter, does not make loud sounds basically it is very quiet and you can get speed quickly. This is a penny type board, and it is small, the plastic on the main board it is flexible and will not brake like the cheap penny boards. This is great for young kids and teens that like to have a challenge instead of the regular size skateboard. If you want to have the board more flexible just loose the nuts on the tucks and set it up base on your needs. If you are looking for a penny board or small skateboard this is the right choice.
About This Item
Coming from a wheel maker dating back to 1965, this Kryptonics Skateboard is a reintroduction of a classic design. This retro '70s skateboard has an old-school chic style. A slightly pre-loaded reverse curve and a stiffer plastic composition increases the Kryptonics Torpedo Skateboard's rigidity, making it especially useful for heavier riders or anyone requiring a high level of durability. This deck has nearly unbreakable flex, lasting through even extreme states of compression. This skateboard's kicktail is a just little shallower than many other boards in order to allow for a more versatile and usable angle of pavement contact. A resilient plastic deck with a molded checkerboard grip surface adds serious traction to the Kryptonics Torpedo Skateboard's surface, allowing for more reliable foot placement by the rider.

I bought this skateboard for my daughter who wanted a "penny board". The other boards I looked at were around $100.00 . This one was less than half that, and it rolls. It flexes and rolls like no other board I've had. I liked it so much I'm planning on buying another for my son (and myself).
Amazing Skateboard for a beginner or pro
This skateboard is amazing. It has those smooth wheel that make it go fast, the strong and sturdy plastic deck. When you get it shipped to use it's skate ready so you don't have to go to the skate shop. All of my friends and I love this board. It's the best one ive gotten yet!
Expecting the board
I got this today, and it was just fantastic . I am a 14 Year Old and I'm 80 Pounds. Since I'm under the limited weight capacity, it is smooth and fast for me . This isn't as sensitive as other boards, the plastic is kind of thick which makes it more not easily to break, not saying it will break.. Anyways, if your around over 110 It's still good, it'll go a LITTLE slower, When I mean little I mean just like 3-5 mph slower . But, you need to make the board use to the weight to just kick back and let someone that is under 110 ride it for a bit, then you can ride it.
Awesome board. Great alternative to a Penny board.
My girlfriend just bought this board for me last night. I love it. I'm 22 years old, 190 lbs and have been skateboarding since I'm 13... riding, not amazing at tricks. This board is rated for 110 lbs so there needs to be some alterations before it can handle heavier riders. The bearings were already shot when I got it, I'm assuming from people riding it around in the store. Planned on switching them out anyways so I wasn't too upset. The wheels arent awful but they super soft which is going to slow you down. The bushings are super hard so it limits turning abilities but the deck is perfect. Water proof, flexible yet still a firm feeling when it's underneath you. I had a land yachtz long board sitting around so I swapped the wheels, bearings and one bushing on each truck. This board is amazing now. I think the deck and the trucks are well worth the 40 bucks alone. It's easy to balance on, rolls right over rocks and cracks in the side walk. Super easy to ride and manual on. I'm a college student so I have the opportunity to ride this bad boy around campus every day. It gives me a little fun and excitement between classes. I would recommend the board as it comes off the shelf to young kids under 110lbs, but if you have the money to invest some good parts, or have some wheels and bearings laying around then get this just for the deck and trucks. It's an amazing board and brings a whole new experience to skateboarding!
