Just What I Was Looking For
I like this camera. I wanted something simple and easy to use, this fits the bill. Good camera for the price. It is easy to use and the video is clear and sharp. sound is decent. The settings are easy to do and you have different options to take pictures and video, like black & white, sepia and 70's. I like that you can edit videos on the camera. I haven't used it too much but what I did take I am happy with. I do recommend getting a memory card, you will need it, the camera has VERY little memory. Can't wait to take some videos of the Grandkids!!!CadillacGirl

recording outside only? then this is for you!
Was looking for a small and simple camera to replace an older jvc. The price of the kodak seemed reasonable and the initial look and function was very appealing. Then I tried to take video.... first, I recommend that you give yourself a lot of time to format any SDHC card you put in this camera.. I mean ALOT of time. Once that was done 30 minutes later, I took videos both inside and outside. The outside ones were pretty good but no matter which setting I tried, the inside ones were much too dark as this camera lacks a light (as I'm told most of these types of camera do.) So, long story short, the day I bought the camera was also the day it went back.Firehazard

- 5 out of 5 stars review1/15/2013Great Little CameraKodak put this camera out after the Flip Camera became so popular and since I own both, I can tell you the Kodak is a better camera. The videos and still shots are much sharper. The software is by ArcSoft and is called Media Impressions. Its already loaded on the camera and installs in to the computer automatically when you put the usb arm in the computers usb port the first time. Walmart has the best price on this camera and Kodak is no longer making them, so when the last one is gone .... it's gone. I purchased this same camera over a year ago as a gift for my sister, so I already knew it was a great camera for the money !VLG123

Video recording is simple and of very good quality. May need some additional lighting for low-light conditions, but I would highly recommend this product.RiAlSc7
- 4 out of 5 stars review6/20/2011Nice pocket camcorderI purchased the Kodak Playtouch (Zi10) so that I could record my son's wedding reception. At the end of the reception, I gave the Playtouch with the recordings to my son and his bride as a bonus gift to take on their honeymoon. I had absolutely no time to practice with the Playtouch prior to the wedding, so I was very happy indeed to find out that it is REALLY easy and intuitive to operate. The large touchscreen on the back of the camcorder makes it simple to see what's being recorded. The videos are a nice quality and are fun to watch. The sound is better than expected. I probably would have been happier with the video quality had I used the highest setting. My son used the Playtouch to take both videos and still photos of their honeymoon ...SatisfiedWalmartConsumer
