Salsa Use
I make salsa on a pellet "Traeger" smoker for the smoke flavor and the roasting of the tomatoes and peppers. In the heating process, I loose quite a bit of liquid from the tomatoes. I was simply adding water to the salsa to rehydrate it. I noticed in other salsa, that it tasted like something that reminded me of soup with a warmth and body but the bite of salsa. I discovered this product when looking for a Bouillion for my salsa. I blend everything together and end up adding 1/2 to a full cup of boiling water with two tablespoons of Knorr Tomatoe Bouillion to the salsa blend. The flavors all mixed together are incredible. I have started using this product to cook with when I make fajitas too and it works very well.

Read the label!
It takes a Tablespoon of this to equal a cube of bouillon, but the nutrition label is for one teaspoon. That's 910 mg of sodium times 3 for a cube! Over 2,700 mg of sodium!

Great Flavor

Looking to add flavor to homemade soups or fix some of those bland store bought meals this will do it. A little goes a long way.

Good stuff

Normally I use the Knorr cubes but have not been able to get them. When I saw this online, I ordered it along with other stuff to try. I like this BETTER than the cubes. I use a soup base for soups but, this makes a terrific warm broth for a cold evening or a trembly tummy. It has plenty of flavor but wasn't too salty. I also like adding just a spoonful to rice when making vegys and rice. From now on, I will purchase more than one at a time.

Yummy!

I use this in just about everything.

Knorr Tomato Chicken Bouillon

We've been using this for forever! That being said, this broth base is getting harder and harder to find! If it were to disappear, it would be devastating for our family!

1. It adds so much flavor to everything.soups strews, roasts ect.
by Sunnierlight
2. The green lid helps distinguish between the plain chicken flavor bouillon and the red lid identifies the tomato flavor chicken bouillon. I keep one of each and identify, by its lid color, the one that I want to use while reaching for it.
