I've had my KitchenAid mixer for 2 weeks now and I absolutely love it. I have been wanting one for about 10 years and I finally decided to spend the money. I've made two cakes and some buttercream frosting using my mixer. I decided to go with the glass bowl because I just loved how it looked on the image. The mixer is surprisingly quiet. I think it may be even quieter than my old hand mixer. The only downside is that you have to be very careful with the bowl. My bowl cracked the first time I used it. Not a huge crack, you can't even feel it on the surface, but just seeing the small nick bothers me and I hope it doesn't get bigger. I checked the attachments and none of them hit the bowl so I don't know how the crack even happened. Overall I'm happy with my purchase, but if KitchenAid could send me a replacement that would be awesome. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

LOVE LOVE LOVE
I have been contemplating on buying a kitchenaid mixer for about three years now and I finally got one and I don't regret it! I love the fact how easy it is to figure out how it works. Also, it was nice how it comes with a cook book full of recipes! My favorite things to make with my mixer are pizza dough, cookies, and butter cream! I've only used a hand held a few times so I don't have the best experience to compare the two but I do know it's nice to just throw everything in there and let it do its thing! I can't wait for the holiday season to make all kinds of treats! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Durable and Beautiful
I bought my kitchen aid just after Christmas. Have yearned for one for over 20 years and finally was able to buy one with Christmas money. Bought the Artisan in Red and LOVE, LOVE , LOVE it. Have used it every week since Makes great dough for bread, creamy mash potatoes, cheesecakes etc. Our Grandsons love helping. Bought the attachments and lives how it grates cheese in no time. Making sausages next Recommend this product [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I love this mixer! And it's beautiful!
My hand mixer broke and I decided it was time to step up to a real mixer. Used it last weekend to make Slovak ginger cookies and it worked great. And I love the color I picked out. I have a small kitchen so I got a moveable island to put it on. Very happy with everything and with my decision to go with the glass mixing bowl. Highly recommend! The Color Called to Me
I fell in love with this stand mixer when I saw it at the Seniors PGA tournament sponsored by KitchenAid.....the raspberry ice color caught my eye as well as the pink polka dot bowl....so when my husband asked what I wanted for my birthday I asked for the mixer and the bowl. I already have a 45 year old KitchenAid stand mixer that my mother used for many years to make wedding cakes and it still purrs like a kitten so my new mixer has some big shoes to fill. I have a few accessories and plan on getting the spiralizer and the pasta roller.
Excellent! Great features!
I got this as a gift from my son and his wife and I absolutely adore it! I love, love, love the dough hook. I am in awe of the dough it produces every time I use it. I could never achieve those results mixing and kneading by hand. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Love my new mixer!
I love this mixer, and the color is gorgeous- raspberry. It really does look much nicer in person. It's easy to use but I wish it was easier to pour things in, somtimes its awkward to pour in ingredients while the mixer is operating. I may need to get a splash guard thing to make it easier.Too bad it didn't come with it like the other 5qt mixers do.
I can't say enough good things about my Kitchenaid! I love it to death and don't know how I ever lived without it for so long! The only negative thing I can say is that I wish the splash guard worked for the glass bowl! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Always wanted one
I ordered my KitchenAid mixer online from a specialty store in February 2017 and it was out of stock. So I was excited when I finally received it on March 9th. I unboxed it and sat it on the counter. Then I noticed that the name plate wasn't attached completely to the mixer and it moves when I tap it. And the part that the attachments insert into isn't attached evenly. There is a gap. So needless to say I'm disappointed and worried that this mixer wasn't assembled properly. I did turn it on and it seemed to work, but haven't actually used it. So I'm hoping it will just be an aesthetic issue. Which still bothers me because your mixers aren't cheap and I feel like providing an all around quality product wasn't important. I had been contemplating contacting either the store or your company about this, but not ready to deal with a potentially uncaring customer service person. Also, I've bought this same mixer before for my daughter one Christmas and hers looks so nice and I couldn't wait to get one for myself. Now I'm embarrassed for anyone to see mine.
