Ok so I can't claim to be an expert on this subject, but this sees regular use around here .. and over the years I've learned that I can expect consistency from this brand, and it's a taste I enjoy. I use it both in my cooking and directly on Sashimi and Sushi.
I've boughten the store brands before but they just don't taste the same. I can buy a big bottle at the 99cent only store for 1/3rd the price but I would end up throwing it away or not using it. Spend the extra bucks and get Kikkoman. I just wished Walmart would stock the low-sodium version which they seem to always be out of.
