Very Happy With Purchase

All the features this a/c has is enough to purchase it. It is super quiet, unlike my last one, and the price was excellent.

Great Air Conditioner

Air Conditioner is great even though we had to track it down since FedEx delivered it to the wrong address.

Great Value

Very happy with the performance of our 6K BTU Keystone. Been buying Frigidaire till now but this Keystone came in at a better price and good reviews. It's proven to be efficient, quiet and easily takes care of a 220 square foot bedroom. 85 degree weather with 70% outside and the room stays at the requested 70 degrees and dry with compression starts infrequent. Once it got the room to the right temperature which only took about 1/2 hour, it ran smoothly and quietly thereon. A very good buy.

Does not cool like a 6000BTU

I did like the fact that the unit was very compact and it is pretty quiet. I could carry it in the package with one hand and I believe it is the most quiet a/c unit I have ever owned. But, it does not cool like a 6000 BTU should cool. It probably does the job of a 5000 BTU unit. The fan speeds do not go very high. The high setting on this unit blows like a low setting on other units that I have owned.

11. Yes. From side to side stretches from 23" to 36". If you install it in a slider window you will have to make a filer piece from the top of the unit to the top of the space were the section of slider was. We put in a piece of plexiglass. Some people use plywood. (We didn't like that look.) The cooler works great,

1. I would not buy this for a 20" window, I doubt seriously if it would fit, and how would you secure it?
by Londonborn
2. 23 inches is the minimum width that includes the ac unit and the expanding side panels. If you leave one side panel off as I did , the ac unit will fit easily.
by Alipax
3. It will not fit with both of the sliding side panes in place, but will fit if you only use one of them. My window was narrow and I left off the right side panel with good results.
by Alipax
4. because of the side sliders my window was 21" and they wouldn''t fit in,so if you cut the sliders shafts alittle shorter they work fine it got 5 mins with a hack saw there plastic
by BronxGuinea
5. I use it in a casement window 16.5 inches wide this unit ha side panels that open to fill the rest of your window which to use these the pindow has to me a minimum size of 23 inches I mounted mine with wood I used a I by for acrosst the indow and then use wood I inch thick and the with of my window frame and screed the 1 by for into the ends of the 2 strips of wood and screwed them into the wndow frame this holds the ac in and gives me a border frame where I cut a piece of plexi glass to fit the remaining opening drilled it mounted it hope this helps
by Joncc1701e
6. I've already installed my A/C, but if I remember correctly the pull out panels stick out on both sides (Min.23" opening) If you leave them off then you can install it into your 20" wide window.
by hiswayisup
7. The "accordion" style filler plates on the sides are about 3 inches fully collapsed on each side. You could leave one side off and fit it in a 20" window.
by DantheGman
8. This unit will fit in your window. However, you won't be able to use one or both of the pieces that slide out from the sides of the unit to form a seal around your window opening. I'm using one right now in a window that is about 19 inches wide, but I only put the slider on one side and used foam A/C insulation on the other.
by Jeff10
9. It fits nicely to my 16" wide window opening without using any side panels. If side panels (included) are used, it would cover 23 -36" width window. For your 20" width, you can't use the panels, have to cover the 4" gap yourself.
by L888T
10. Our window is a slider one and the width is 22". The according side pieces stretch out to fill in the the gap on each side. (23-36") Because of the window size we didn't have to stretch out the side pieces. They make the difference between the actual measurement and the measurement of the unit it's self. So your window is probably to small. It was a tight fit in our's but it worked. We had to put a piece of plexiglass in above the unit since we did not have the up and down window.
