I just got this today and It's really good. I purchased 8 cans and only 1 was dented. I decided to open the dented one and try it. I tasted like ground up roast beef. I am going to add some taco seasoning and add to my taco salad, or make some gravy and put over mashed potatoes. or Use in enchiladas. Endless uses. The 5 yr shelf life is great!

This is going to be a regular order item for me. It's great, I tried another brand of canned beef and it was so salty I couldn't eat it. This is wonderful, there's a lot of meat in the can. I mixed it with spaghetti sauce and it was wonderful. I'm going to get at least 4 meals from 1 can maybe even 6. It has great taste. When my pasta was nearly done I added half a can of the meat to heat it up, this also melted the fat so it was easy to strain off but still left a little behind for flavor. I only ordered 1 can to make sure I'd like it but when I reorder it I'm going to make sloppy joes, I expect them to be mouthwatering delicious.
Works great in chili.
I made a pot of chili this morning by getting out my Instant Pot, putting in a can of this beef,a chopped onion, a block of frozen chili, two cans of tomatoes and two packages of mild chili seasoning. Set it for an hour and let it decompress for nearly an hour. It came out just delicious, perfect, didn't have to do a thing to it. I'm buying more of this canned beef.
Yes I was not sure about this so I ordered 2 cans. I wanted to make some spaghetti and didn't want to go to the store. Also Chuck and beef have so much water and grease in them that you have to spoon off the greese after you cook it. So I opened the can and it did have some white greese in it so I just spooned it off and made it like I do all the time. I used the beef juice to do my onions and then add all my spices to the onions instead of the meat then I added the beef and cooked like I would if used fresh ground meat. And it was a lot better. So why is it out of stock all the time? Will by more when back in stock.
