It just arrived yesterday, but immediately, after pricing other similar models, this is a lot of bike for the money. Most in the price range I was looking were single speed, assembly was a snap, quick disconnects make adjustment easy, and it is a very comfortable ride compared to a 2 wheel bike. At 73, it is much friendlier to my body, and particularly my back. Instructions could be a little more detailed. Adjusting the handlebars is not explained, or diagramed, but eventually I found the little button underneath the bar that needs to be depressed while at the same time swinging the bar up. It had a bracket for the flag holder they included with the flag, but no diagram for installation, and no place that I have been able to find that have predrilled holes that line up with the holes on the bracket. Minor issues for what you get. I would recommend this bike to anyone looking for a recumbent bike, particularly for an entry level bike, since I think it offers a lot of great features. A little on the heavy side, but rivals many I looked at that were well into 4 figures.

Great bike for the price
I absolutely love this bike. My wife bought one from a local shop and it cost twice as much. There are not many differences between her bike and my bike (this one). The cons are the damage to the broke when i relieved it. The seat was ripped, the hub caps were broken, and the derailleur was bent. It took several miles of road and adjustments to get it nearly where it should be. Overall it is a great bike for the price.
Kent Cavalier Recumbent Trike is mostly good.
Overall a pretty good bike but a lot of little things that could be improved. The bike does come mostly assembled which is nice. Although it arrived with one hubcap missing and I have been unable to contact the manufacturer to see if they will replace it. The bike is geared too fast for climbing even gentle hills so I plan on changing the drive sprocket to a smaller size. There is very little padding in the seat so I have added a seat cushion. It does not come with a basket and is not easy to add one. It is awkward to get on and off but comfortable once you are seated. I would probably buy it again because of its good price.
A Decent Recumbent At A Great Price
I've shopped for recumbent bikes for my girlfriend, and they start at $1500 - except for this Kent Cavalier. The good: it has a 7-speed derailleur which is needed for climbing grades, it has disc brakes, and there is a locking folding mechanism on the rear boom which allows you to fold in the rear wheel for transport. All in all, a great starter recumbent. The only bad news is that it could not be adjusted down enough for my 5'1" girlfriend to use. It's adjustable, but not for someone that short. I reluctantly had to return it
