These shades are top quality. The only draw back is if you order online you can only get them in a 72 inch length. You can get them in store in a 65 inch length. I ordered 14 of the shades and they were of such good quality I decided it was worth the trouble of altering the length myself. It took some time but it is doable. You will love these shades.

    Great Value

I bought this in the 23 x 72 inch length for a door. It's extremely easy to install, once you figure out which of three directions you are following. It's true the very bottom portion doesn't go all the way down on it's own, but I just pull it down. I'm sure attaching some kind of weight to the end would take care of that. The material is a nice canvas, definitely not see-through. You really can't beat it for the price.

    Great product for the price

If you are looking for an expensive, insulated roman shade, this is a great choice. They are easy to install and look nice hanging or rolled up. I would definitely buy these again when looking for bargain priced roman shades.

    Good value Roman blind

Once we installed the first blind, and got to gripps with installation, these were easy to put up, we ended up installing 11 of them, look smart on the inside and from the outside. Not as fast or easy to roll up as a roller blind but great value (some we bought instore were 11 dollars off online price!) Delivery was quick and ahead of schedule! no complaints!

Good for the price I paid

I bought two for the french doors to my study. Previous reviewers were right in that I had to add rods at the bottom to hold the shades down. However, it looks decent and the price can't be beat (~$2x for each) . If you have side or upstairs windows that are not the main focal point and is willing to add some minor weight at the bottom, this is a good value.

    Roman Shade Review

Nice looking, unfortunately 72 inch length does run short.

    looks like plastic

The product is indeed not as pictured. They don't stay up unless you screw a holder into the window trim. Looks like beige plastic. No weight on the bottom. We had to buy a metal rod at the hardware store to have them hang straight down. Can't wait to be able to replace them. Should have returned them but my husband put them up before I shared my opinion.

    Too Many Problems

I expected a Roman Shade that had a fabric thick enough to insulate since the word insulate is part of the name but instead it's extremely thin and looks very cheap. The shade doesn't raise all the way up. When it's completely in the up position, about half of the upper portion of the window is still covered. The bottom panel isn't weighted at all and because of that it has a tendency to curl up at the corners. My advise would be to keep looking and not buy this shade.

    Ugh

....I ordered 72 inch length they were far from it, even though the box was labelled as such. The description makes this sound like a shade- type roll up action-nope. You need to attach a wand to turn the curtain up, then the curtain will not stay up unless you attach the wand to the bracket which is attached to the frame. Certainly not what what I was expecting based on the description. The fabric is also thin....if you are looking for 'insulating' this is not for you. These will go back and the search continues....

    NOT INSULATED!

These are "insulated" by a thin piece of mesh on the back! Do not filter light very good. They look nice but I'm sending these back right away because I need them to actually be insulated!

    1. With a wand that is pretty high up so little hands can't reach.

    2. There is a wand attached to the top that you turn.
    by Turner1
    3. It has a mesh screen attached to the back of the shade. You use a wand (just like opening blinds) to raise and lower the shade. Very easy to operate.

    4. there is a rod that spins and raises the shades. The clip that you mount on the wall holds the rod it place to hole the shade in the up postition.

    1. The room daring shades are made out of something like kanvis. Very easy to install, screw in two brackets and attach your blind.

    2. I'm not sure of the exact material, but it feels like a canvas material. It's thick with the insulation layer on the back. It reminds me of sunbrella material a little bit. I like it.
    by georgiagrad98
    3. The fabric is linen and it's not insulated. I wouldn't say it does much to insulate. Not close enough to the window to insulate. But it does look nice.
