    not worth the money!

this pop up tent is really easy to use at first, it just pops right out of the bag and is already set up. It is fairly small in comparison to other tents. I'll put my daughter in her car seat in it at the pond and there is little extra room. The biggest problem about this tent is trying to put it back in the bag! It is IMPOSSIBLE to get it to break down. the directions are just plain awful. 3 people have tried to get it to collapse back into the bag and did not succeed. I've resorted to just smushing it up and putting it half in the bag (no pun intended) and that's about as far as i can get. For 30$ I probably could have gotten a much better one. Don't waste your money!

This sun dome lasted two trips to the beach. The first time it was so flimsy that it blew completely over my daughter while she was sleeping. The second time on of the poles snapped rendering it useless. The customer service at Kelgar was unhelpful and unapologetic.
I've had this tent for almost 8 years. Yes, you have to keep it out of strong breezes, but we always placed toys and bedding in the tent to help out. Also, follow instructions closely for folding or can break the poles. it takes a few times to get it down how to fold it up.

    Gets the job done.

This product is certainly good for protecting your child against the sun. You need to make sure to not leave them there too long, because it does get very hot in the dome after a couple of hours in the direct sun. Also make sure you know exactly how to close it before your trip to the pool/beach because you'll stress yourself out trying to do it when you are cleaning up after your trip. Be careful with the plastic rods that hold up the dome because they are very flimsy and will break easily when you open or close the dome. Overall, I like it and would recommend it. We use it a lot and take it with us every outing, and my 8-month-old son likes to hang out, play and sleep in it.

Nice Sun Dome. Serves its' purpose.

This is the 2nd time I purchased this product and I love it for my infant son. The 1st dome broke because someone that did not know how to fold it back up forced it/bent it and broke wiring. We had the first dome for 2 +years with my first son and never had an issue. I agree it is tricky to fold up if you have not been used to it. The only thing different than the older model zippered shut and kept things out (bugs, other kids) while the new one just has tabs so it does not completely shut. OIverall it is a decent product.

Fast and easy setup and take down!!!

I love the zipper front to this sun dome, compared to the other style you can purchase from Babies R Us, that has only a few velcro closures. It is so very simple to fold this up if you follow the instructions. So much easier to set up and take down as opposed to setting up a tent with poles, especially when you have little ones running around. I can nurse the baby in this for privacy and it stays down when it is windy because we put sand in the sides.
Went to the beach on a beautiful July day with regular winds coming off the water and almost lost this thing!!! I put sand in the two side pockets and unless there is weight in the front entrance it will fly backwards. I put one of my sons buckets filled with water at the front and by the end of the day it was soaked and sandy. I used a regular beach umbrella the next day and it was perfect. This thing is a waste of money and time!

    Cheap quality

I took it out of the bag twice just to get the hang of folding it up and putting it back in. The next time I took it out to actually use it, I found that the poles had snapped. I will be taking it back for a refund. I would NOT reccoment this to anyone.

    Don't waste your money

We bought this item to use with our infant at the beach. After just an hour or two of use, the wind (which was no stronger than usual) made it unusable. Don't waste your money on this product.
