New Look, Same Trusted Formula, KILZ Original 1 Gal. Interior Low VOC White Primer, Sealer and Stain blocker is an oil-base primer, sealer and stain blocker with a low VOC formula. It is excellent as a base coat for latex or oil-based paint. Its powerful stain-blocking properties block most odors, as well as interior water, smoke and tannin stains. It can be applied to almost any interior surface, including furniture, drywall, plaster, paneling, brick, masonry and even painted metal.

KILZ Origonal Interior Primer works Great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a customer whose garage sink water line had fractured and sprayed water on the Dry Wall. I removed the bubling paint, applied some spakle, smoothed and sanded. Then applied the KILZ Origonal Interior Primer and I did not even need to paint it. It blended in and worked great!

Great for priming over old wallpaper.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After purchasing an older house that had a really old wallpapered interior I needed a primer to cover the wallpaper so I could paint the walls without problems of peeling. The Kilz original oil based primer did a good job. I'm very happy with the results.

Works great for ceilings

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Mother was getting ready to sell her home and she had multiple water stains on the ceiling from leaks. The aerosol was perfect. It was easier and less messy than using a brush or roller. Just angled it a little to the stain and covered it easy. It took a couple coats just it disappeared. This was done on plaster and not drywall. I have also used it on drywall patches with excellent results. The spray makes it perfect for small areas you need to cover Verus a large area. Kilz is the orignal and still the best.
