This is the second Joovy stroller we have owned and it is our favorite! It is very lightweight and features a standard universal carseat adaptor, parent organizer, and snack tray! The parent organizer also has a canopy extension that allows for the rear rider to have shade. The color is awesome and it pushes easily and turning is a breeze. Love this stroller. Perfect for our newborn and toddler.
Versatile and compact for multiple kids
We love our Joovy Caboose Ultralight stroller because of it's compact size and versatile features. This stroller is spacious enough to easily fit two toddlers and folds up flat to easily fit into the trunk of a car. It's also easy to set up and fold down. The style of the harnesses are simple to quickly strap your child in and I love the back stand-on platform that can be converted into a second seat with an extra seat attachment. While the baby rides in the front, my toddler can sit on the bench seat and easily get up. This worked perfectly when we went to the zoo, since she often wanted to get up to go look at something. The sun cover can be tilted forwards or backwards depending on the angle of the sun. This stroller is so helpful for keeping my kids with me while shopping, when it's often essential to confine them to the stroller. Plus the stroller offers generous storage underneath for my purse or shopping bags.
Love this stroller!
I've been using this stroller since November for my 5 year old and newborn. It's easy to fold and unfold, great to push around, and has been working out great. My only complaint is that the sunshade placement can be a little awkward. It doesn't completely collapse when stroller is open (stays open about 4-5 inches, so I have to use some ties to hold it shut tight, or else it either blocks my view of the infant or bops the 5 year old in the head.
Caboose and Cargo Boxcar all in one!
We have had our Caboose for a while now and I've been waiting to write my review to make sure I was able to be as accurate as possible. I'm going to focus on the real world aspect of the Caboose, which is awesome.
We are an extremely active family, with a 14-month old and a 8-year-old. In the six months or so we've had out Caboose, it has handled about 5 trips to Universal studios (we did that whole pay for one day, get a year free pass, got our moneys worth!) two trips to Knotts Berry Farm, and 4 or 5 trips to Disneyland, not to mention the county fair, and multiple other events. Yes, we get out a lot!
On top of all this every single one of these trips was not just us but multiple other family members as well, everyone with lunches, water bottles, souvenirs, etc that they don't want to carry all day, and the Caboose would often become more of a cargo boxcar than caboose! (everyone with close, big families can relate I'm sure!)
The Caboose did its job and more. Its easy to maneuver, even when completely loaded beyond its designers intent, takes a ton of abuse, and saves you from a lot of "MOM! I"M TIRED!!!"
The back seat says its for kids up to 4 I think, but my 8 year old son and 10 year old niece both use it with zero complaints. Maybe a little cramped, but works just fine!
There are drawbacks to everything, its kinda hard to keep folded if you're not paying attention, and its unwieldy to fit in a trunk, but thats the same with any double stroller with the ability to carry two kids and everything that goes along with having two kids, so thats not a justifiable complaint.
Another plus, it looks really cool when you park it in a sea of Gracos at Disneyland!
Stroller that works for toddler, newborn, and mom!
After doing a ton of research on double strollers I finally found one that would work for everyone. The Joovy Caboose Ultralight is great for my active toddler who loves the option to sit and stand. It's lightweight and compact, easy to fold and stick into the tiny trunk of our Ford Focus.
We love that it doesn't lack storage space below and even has great storage for the parents on the handle. Plus shade for both the baby in front and back. I've been through a lot of strollers and this one has the most shade coverage I've ever seen. My toddler is comfortable in the back and I can't wait to be able to use it with our baby due in January. It's compatible with the car seat we already had, which is a huge plus!
Thank you Joovy for letting us try out the Caboose Ultralight! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Joovy has amazing customer service and really stands behind their product. I am a grandma of a 3-year-old and a 16 month old and this stroller is perfect for trips to the zoo. The 3-year-old loves the independence this stroller offers. He can easily stand up to see the animals, walk for a bit and then sit and rest when needed. The stroller offers plenty of shade for both grandsons. The stroller easily folds and is light enough for me to lift into my car without much effort. I effortlessly maneuver through small walkways. I love everything about this stroller.
Lightweight and easy to maneuver but the wheel joints are already starting to squeak and we've had it less than 1 month...besides that it fits in our Toyota Corolla car trunk with some room to spare which is nice.
Car Seat Cable, and infant seat Sliding Feature
I love this, it is lighter than the other ones.
and the fact that the slide seat does slide, and the care seat cable is amazing
and it is light
1. on the Negative side - it is hard to put a Diper bag if it is a bit bit (5 pounds only allowed)
2. it is Long you need to uninstall both the cable seat and the caboose
3. I find it hard to uninstall teh diper and caboose from the car seat
but compared to the one I have, it is way better, lighter and way easier to push
very light weight
and love the fact that car seat can easily just go on the car seat
