Best value for the price!
This stroller traveled to so many countries and cities already. My baby was 2m old and can’t use most of “cabin sized” strollers since he has to lay almost flat. I was hesitant spending hundreds on strollers if he’s unable to use it! So I bought this. we went to Houston, Orlando, Oslo, Amsterdam, Jakarta and more! The only problem was airport mishandling that made me lose the shoulder bar, the car seat thing (the elastic straps) and the wheel broke one time but joovy sent a replacement (a little bit too late but now I’ve got a spare) - it’s compatible with my car seat. And really good value for my budget. I’m a single mom traveling solo and I RECOMMEND THIS!! Note that the parts broke after I checked them. Not because of use. My baby is 8.6kg (almost 19 pounds) and often times strapped in the car seat (10 pounds-ish) and it rolls on just fine! :)

CAR SEAT ADAPTER NOT SAFE
I bought this stroller with the intent of using it as a travel system stroller because it allegedly had safe car seat adapters. I was gifted a car seat but not a stroller to go with it so I needed something that could work with most car seats. I knew that the adapters were an elastic type of secure and the stroller has an additional safety belt to strap the car seat into when purchasing. However, after only ONE use of this stroller the elastic bungie cords continue to pop out of their supposed locking base. Causing the car seat to jolt and slide out of place. I know it's hard to come up with ways to be able to adapt different brands of car seats but I just don't believe that safety was the top priority when this was what the finish product was. Other than that it's not a terrible stroller. It's very narrow which would be good for getting through aisles I suppose. It is very light and folds easily. The basket is very small when you have it in person. I have a backpack diaper bag that is smaller than an average school backpack and it barely fits in it. It does feel cheaply made especially since it is retailed at $200. I'm glad I got it on a sale otherwise I would be even more dissatisfied. In the end we went ahead and ordered the stroller that goes with the car seat I was gifted even though it was more expensive. So if you're looking to find a stroller to adapt to your car seat my advice is to keep looking.

The Best Stroller For Your Child

When it comes to a company I trust for Layla, it is Joovy. Their superior quality products are made for today's family. We love our Joovy Foodo. We also have the Joovy Balloon Stroller and we LOVE it! It has all the features we looked for in a stroller and more. The multi-position reclining seat is perfect for naps on-the-go or a bird's eye view of the neighborhood for Layla. It is easy to lift into the car and opens and closes with ease. The one-handed standing is amazing. No more finding a place to lay your stroller when you are out! This also means the cloth on the stroller stays free of dirt from laying on the floor or ground. I feel the Joovy Balloon is a great value for the price. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Best on the go stroller

I was tired of putting our 40lb jogger in and out of the bed of my truck. This was the perfect solution! It’s so lightweight and fits in my back seat. It’s perfect for on the go. My son also loves it and it seems extremely comfortable. He fell asleep during the first use. So peaceful! I highly recommend this stroller. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Best stroller I've ever owned

I bought this stroller when My daughter was 3 months old. She's our seventh baby and we had decided we were done long before we decided we weren't, so we'd already gotten rid of all of our baby gear. This is the most versatile lightweight stroller I've ever had, and I love it. The UV hood on the stroller helps me feel better about taking my redheaded baby out on sunny days, and I love the adjustable handle. This is the perfect stroller.

Thank you very much for the review! We are excite that this is a great fit for your family!

So lightweight!

We LOVE our balloon! We've had it about 2 months now and love using it. We have a 2 year old and another on the way and I love that the balloon can accomodate both of them. It's big and comfy enough for our toddler, and I love the recline/bassinet feature that we can use when our next one arrives. It's so lightweight I have no trouble carrying it while pregnant, and I love that it can fold/unfold in one easy motion. Thank you so much joovy! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

You're welcome! We are so happy you like it!!

Amazing Stroller!

Joovy Balloon stroller is amazing! My absolute favorite feature is the extra - large canopy, my daughter is completely protected from the sun. This stroller is super lightweight, it comes in amazing colors, the handle reserves so you can see your sweet baby as you stroll, it has a one hand standing fold. It's good Joovy Balloon stroller!

Great stroller

Got this stroller because I wanted something lighter and smaller than our large jogger stroller. Love all the features (how much it reclines, the large shade, the padded shoulder and crotch strap, basket, ease of folding), but it is very hard to steer. And be sure to take off the cup holders before you put it in the car, because the stud that holds it broke on ours after the first use.

Love the Large Canopy

As a Joovy Mom, I received this stroller at no cost to facilitate this review.

There are a handful of features I consider when determining if a stroller is a good fit for my kids and me - canopy, recline, handle, fold, and storage are the main "make or break" decision determiners.

Canopy - The canopy is one of the best and biggest I've seen on the market and it’s wonderful. (Note, if you want a "darkening effect" for naptime, you should probably opt for the black color.) The fabric of both the canopy and seat cushion is similar to, if not the same as, the fabric of the Joovy Too Qool which, looking at the difference in price points, is a really nice feature (it's also easy to clean, BUT it will snag if you have loose jewelry or zippers that get caught in it).

Recline - A game changer for this stroller is it's "lifetime." This stroller is able to recline nearly flat, meaning it can be used from birth (at full recline), similarly to a bassinet. This gives the lifetime of this stroller about 5 years (birth - 45 lbs or 44 inches) depending on your child.

Handle - The feature I was most looking forward to when I heard about this new stroller was the reversible handle. In theory, it's great. It's not like other strollers where you have to lift up the seat to reverse it; it's just a simple lever on the stroller handle. However, when using "mom-facing mode" as I put it, the stationary back wheels become the front wheels and the swivel wheels become the back wheels. Not really an issue for straight rides in the park, but when you're trying to maneuver tight aisles, it's pretty frustrating. The turning radius is almost non-existent. I reserve this mode for emergency, can't get him to stop crying situations only (just a step before throwing in the stroller towel and just carrying him), which kind of bums me out since I was SO excited about this feature (the reason I’m giving it 4, not 5 stars).

Fold – By far the easiest stroller fold I’ve ever done. Just slide the lever on the top of the handle and pull the bottom button in. I do wish it was a little smaller when folded, but the ease of the fold is so convenient, that I don’t really mind the larger folded footprint (it still fits fine in my trunk).

Storage - This basket may appear little, but it packs a big punch. After a 4 hour mall trip, my hands remained free. Two shopping bags, a camera, diapers and wipes, 3 coats, and a sippy cup fit just fine!

Has its flaws

After doing my research I thought I'd hit the jackpot with this find. Unfortunately, I did not. Now don't get me wrong, there are things I really love about this stroller. The aesthetics, it looks top dollar. It seems comfortable, my baby is only 3 months(~14#), so unsure of how she will grow into it but she loves it now. The adjustable push bar is great, super easy to switch from facing out to in. I do wish it also had a height adjustment feature though. I am of average height (5'6) and the height of the bar feels too low for me. The stroller opens and fold up very easily. The fatal flaw here...THE WHEELS. They are terrible. I find it nearly impossible to push this stroller one handed. The wheels swivel all over the place, even with both hands on it still doesn't keep a straight track. This makes the maneuverability awkward, not good in tight aisles/walkways. It isn't great on uneven sidewalks/cracks, which I could overlook if it did better on smooth/flat surfaces. I am hoping this stroller will become more manageable as my daughter grows and adds more weight to it but so far I am pretty disappointed.

Thank you for your feedback. Please call us at 877-456-5049, we would be happy to send you new wheels!
