I have been a fan of this product for years. I'm so happy to see it back on the shelves again! This spray makes beautiful, beachy waves without drying out ends. It smells just as beautiful.

I use it once I get out of the shower and I just spray it on my hair and move it around scrunch or twist some pieces and it works great. I have wavy hair on the top but the bottom is straight so this product just brings out all my waves so it's al equal, plus it smells great and feels great. It doesn't leave your hair hard like when you use gels or other salt sprays. I recommend this product to everyone! And if your worried because you have curly hair or not blonde don't be, if it works on mine then it should work for everyone!
I received a sample of John Frieda Sea Waves Sea Salt Waves courtesy from Influenster in my VoxBox. I was so excited to be getting John Frieda because seriously they are the best products ever!! Swear! I love the smell of the spray and most importantly I love the end result! After you towel dry your hair, spritz it all over and get to twisting/scrunching it!!! The waves are so pretty!!!!! Definitely reminds you of beach waves for sure! I have brunette hair, and although it's the BeachBlonde line it still works amazingly!!!!
I received this free for testing purposes and it was my favorite product from the line. It smells much like you'd expect something that reminds you of the beach - coconuty and sweet. I like to spray it on my dry hair and scrunch with my hands, since it's quick and easy. That gives it enough oomph to be interesting yet still work appropriate. It's a simple way to have a more volumized hair style without much fuss! It doesn't take much product to get my desired effect - just 2-3 sprays per side and I'm good to go. My hair has a tendency to be on the limp side, so this is a great way to help with that issue by giving my hair more body.
I miss the original Ocean Waves still. The reformulation they're calling Sea Waves is... fine. It's just like every single other sea salt spray on the market. What made Ocean Waves so special was the conditioning oils you had to shake up to mix into the rest of the spray. And also the smell. I had been so excited when I heard JF was "bringing it back" and then SO disappointed when I realized it wasn't even close to the same product I remember so fondly. Sigh.
