  • A. Yes, you can insert a nozzle from an Intex pump in the center of the black dial and inflate with either a manual or electric pump if you are not near an outlet or the built-in pump is not working. Make sure you turn the dial to the left so that air can be added to the bed, once the bed is full, turn the dial back to the right.

  • A. Walmart has a strict 15-day only return policy on all air mattresses. I would definitely buy the extended warranty! My air mattress went kaput within 3-4months and would have been not happy to have invested money in a product that didnt last. Since I did purchase the extra warranty for like $6 bucks I was able to get my money back on a giftcard so I could rebuy another mattress or whatever I wanted at Walmart. Cool beans!

Yah I've had this mattress for 3-4 months now. It was my saving grace living in a small temp space (a 1 bdrm apt). Well.....it was cool until it starting losing more and more air during the night. Not sure where the leak was coming from. Just got worse and worse and was hurting my back from zero support. THANK GOD that I purchased the warranty on this. Walmart was great - they processed the claim, sent a UPS label, I shipped it back, and within 2-days I was emailed a gift card with amount of purchase with tax so I could rebuy another or whatever I wanted. Process was smooth. Staff was so professional and friendly. Impressed! About to buy a replacement mattress but not sure I will be buying this one again. I did love the built in pump - very conveinent. It pumped up within 2-3 min. Deflation took a bit of time, but no big complaints. Just wished it lasted longer. DO BUY the extended warranty. Walmart is strict with a 15-day return policy on all air mattresses! Protect your investment!

We purchased this air mattress in August of 2012 primarily for the occasional guests we have. My sister and her husband came to stay with us for a week. The bed inflated nicely and appeared to be fine. When asked, my sister said it was very comfortable. After the second night or so, they said it lost a little air, but that didn't alarm me as I had read many of the reviews and figured that losing a little air was to be expected. The bed consistently lost a little air all through that week. About a month later we used the bed again, but this time it lost more air. It would inflate nicely, but by morning, it was definitely deflated to quite a degree. As the months passed, it has gotten progressively worse. Now it's almost pointless to even use it as it almost completely deflates within an hour. We can't find any tears or holes anywhere on the mattress. I know this wasn't a top-of-the-line model, but it was $60 that we just threw away on a product that we only got about a week's worth of use from. BUYER BEWARE....do NOT waste your money on this mattress.

My husband and I purchased this as a spare bed for my father in law to use during his visit. Our air conditioner actually broke down a few days ago (before he came in); so we took the opportunity to 1. try out the mattress beforehand and 2. be able to stay cool in our home! After about 3 and 1/2 hours of sleep, I woke up and was extremely uncomfortable. I moved a little and noticed I was sunk down to the floor! Even after reinflation, the same thing happened in a matter of hours. I thought maybe I had accidentally left the valve turned a little towards the deflate side. So I tried again the next night. This time, with only my 4 year old son sleeping on it. I checked to make sure it was not turned to deflate at all. And again, within a matter of hours, MY SON, was sunk down into the mattress!!!!! This thing is a piece of junk! It just will not hold air! Don't waste your time or money on this. It looked pretty nice but man, were we wrong...

This bed started off like many of them do. Very good for the first couple of weeks and them slowly begins losing air. It is almost exactly a month after I bought it and now having to air it up several times per night. I'm glad I bought the warranty with it. I do use this as my only bed and sleep on it nightly but they are supposedly made for this purpose.

The valve is built into the electric pump and it leaks, requiring inflation at least every other day or more if you dont want the bed to hammock your body and produce sore hip and shoulder joints. It might be good for a night or two but if you want to use this for any extended period you are just asking for trouble. Ill be avoiding any air mattress that doesnt offer a manual valve in the future.
