    wonderful bad
I have had this bed for about 2 weeks and it is great , more comfortable than I thought an air bed would be. The set up was so easy I have only had to add a little more air once but that was only after a couple days of sleeping on it that I decided to add more to make it more firm, it has been perfect since ! I sleep on it every single night and it is wonderful ! If you cant afford the cost of a traditional bed this air mattress is the perfect solution.

    Internal core collapses..
I bought this queen bed several years ago from Walmart based on a customer review of having had one for 10 years with no problems. It was packed away in the original box until a year ago, in my clothes closet. when I set it up for permanent use. I'm in my mid 70's, 180 lbs. 5' 9" tall, slender, and small boned. I began to notice the center sagging slightly a few weeks ago so added more air. The sag began to repeat a little each day until last week when it affected the center cores from one end to the other. The center cores are collapsing like they are crumbling away while the outer inflated walls are fine except for air loss. I have to add air about three times a day to keep it fully inflated. This week I sealed the top and bottom seams with duct tape only to have air escape from the welded seams in different areas on the four top sides. Today I'm double duct taping the duct tape. I have no choice but to buy a new bed next month.

You are making a great purchase!

The bed feels so wonderful. I ordered on March 21, 2014 and the bed came to my front door on March 26, 2014. I read the reviews first and knew that ordering this bed would be a smart purchase. I orderd this bed for company...I had to sleep on it to be sure how it felt - smile! You'll be happy with this bed!

    Great Air Bed!!

Thanks to all the great reviews this air bed had, it made my search real easy and fast. I didn't expect it to be this comfortable. I like it better than my memory foam mattress. It's very easy to setup and put away. The only thing i didn't like was the top, it's made out of this material that attracts lint or random little thread; but other than that i would recommend this to everyone!

This air bed is of good size and firmness.

This product is convenient and is of good size. In many respects it feels like sleeping on a conventional bed when fully inflated. The air pumps conveniently fills the air bed to the desired firmness which I like. The only challenge I had with this product was finding a way of folding it so it could fit in the storage bag provided with the air bed. I figured out how to fold it properly, so this was just a minor initial challenge. A good buy!

worth the money, and it inflates very quickly.

fantastic sleep. But make sure you sleep on the proper side! We slept 2 nights rolling to the center until I realized we were sleeping on the wrong side.

    1. No. The pump is built in, so you just plug it in when you need it (or leave it plugged in, your choice I suppose) and then turn the 2 knobs to "on" when you want air. It literally takes seconds to refill once it gets a little deflated.
    by insearchofoz
    2. The pump is 120V A/C, not battery powered.
    by edgar9
    3. No. The air pump plugs into an electrical outlet.
    by An anonymous customer
    4. No you don't, just plug it in. It uses an outlet.
    by DJsReview
    5. No, it's electric. You just plug it in.
    by raineyA
    6. there is a built in plug, but it needs to be plugged in, in order for the pump to work. it self inflates and deflates as well. hope this helps. :)
    by CampingGuru99
    7. The air pump does not use a battery that would hold a "charge", it must be plugged into a 120v AC electrical power source (such as a wall socket or electrical generater) each time you use the pump.
    by GDM49
    8. It plugs in to the wall. There is no charging.
    by cajungirl48
    9. No, it's not a battery-powered type. It has a cord and so you have to plug it in for the pump to be able to operate. But after operation, you can unplug it and it'll remain inflated.
    by JPro83
    10. no, just plug in the power cord to a regular electical outlet.

    1. Use King Size fitted and flat sheets.
    by edgar9
    2. we use king flannel fitted sheet set and gather the excess fitted sheet with two wodden clothes pins. easier than queen set in my opinion. air remains cool in the mattress in spring and fall tent camping --flannel sheets work nice in these conditions.
    by oldhoosier
    3. Regular sheets don't stay put..but I bought sheet clips from bed bath beyond and I run them under the bed to keep the sheet from popping off.
    by patfla
    4. i tried queen sheets on this bed but because it is 22" high, they just didnt fit right, so i now have king sized sheets which are a little loose but better than the queen alternative. it also has a velor top which helps to keep the sheets from sliding out of place. hope this helps. :)
    by CampingGuru99
    5. The manufacturer does not recommend any type of coverings for the mattress. I am usung a regular 80"x60" fitted mattress cover and fitted sheet, and they work fine for me.
    by GDM49
    6. I was reading the information for the bed on both the Walmart site and the insta-bed site and it says that normal sheet sizes work fine on these beds. I own this same bed and queen-size sheets work fine on it.
    by JPro83
    7. the Walmart Mainstays fitted queen sheet set fits this mattress perfectly.
    by hical79
    8. Standard queen fitted sheets
    by cajungirl48
    9. ALL STANDARD QUEEN SHEETS
