First of all, I would like to point out that I am a college student with 3 jobs. 2 of my 3 jobs require me to type A LOT. I usually work form a 15 inch laptop, and it breaks my neck to stare down at the screen all day. I bought this keyboard for efficiency, so I can elevate my laptop and still have my keyboard at the appropriate level. I opened this package about an hour ago, and I am on my way to Wal-mart this very minute to return it.
** 1st issue - The keyboard I received is not the keyboard in the picture. The space bar does not protrude from the keyboard like it is shown here. (Which was a feature I was looking forward too) Before I bought this, I checked to the image and reviews to see that it had a full size backspace button. The back space button is tiny!!
**2nd issue - The keyboard is way too small. I often miss keys, and when I try to locate the backspace button I can't get back to the home keys without looking. Aside from that, you can forget about punctuation. I cant reach the punctuation keys on the right at all. If I try to hit one of those keys and hold a shift key it is absolutely laughable.
** 3rd issue - I just don't like the appearance. If it worked properly, I could live with it. It does occasionally skip characters, but I don't blame the product for that. Occasionally my laptop will do that because I type too fast.
I love the mouse. I am disappointed that I have to return it because I like it so much, but it is much smaller that I thought it would be. Everything connects easily, and has good range. If you hunt and peck when you type, this keyboard might be good for you. If you use your keyboard often or even just type fast, spare your self.
My biggest upset here is that I bought something that looks nothing like the picture I saw before hand.
