Cute, well constructed, engaging game!

This game is appropriate for all 3 of my girls (8, 4, and 2). There is something for everyone here! Also, his game is so well constructed! I was concerned that the worms would fall apart after a few rounds (my girls are a bit rambunctious), but they aren't made of paper, they are heavy plastic!! My 8 year old loves to hypothesize whose worm is the longest, and then measure all the worms. It also has 2 ways to play, which is amazing for us because my 4 year old loves to play the same game over and over, but tends to get silly and lose interest. We just switch the spinner and have a second round!! We all stay happy and she continues to be engaged! It is also a quick game, which is awesome for some nights when we only have a few minutes. I highly recommend for anyone with young children! I received this game in exchange for my honest opinion.

Fun and engaging game for our toddlers!

This game is a hit at our house! We have a three year old girl and six year old boy and both really enjoy it! We love that there are different sides to the spinner so there are two ways to play and the colorful worms that cover all our favorite colors. There's a good degree of chance that allows everyone to win but also some places to use strategy so we get better over time. It does take a little more set up for us at the beginning but the fact that it is requested often is enough of a reward to make it worth it! We received this game in exchange for an honest review.
We've really enjoyed this game! My kids are 4 and 6, and it's easy enough for the 4 year old to play but still fun for the 6 year old. The worms are well made and sturdy and are holding up well to the pulling. It's a great game for preschoolers to be able to play independently. I received this game in exchange for my honest opinion.

Simple and Fun for pre-schoolers

Great game for preschoolers. It's educational and fun. My girls (3.5 and 5.5) were quite into it and competitive about their little worms. They enjoy playing it and had lots of laughs. I gave it 4 stars for a few reasons 1- it's a fun game, but fairly simple so while older kids may like it, it's better suited for younger kids who are less likely to lose interest 2- the worms could hook together a bit better 3- make sure the dirt piles are snapped in correctly or they'll pop out during play. Overall lots of smiles while playing. I received this game in exchange for my honest opinion..

Great game for preschoolers

This game was a hit with our preschooler. I always appreciate when a game for this age group doesn't require reading. The worms can be pulled by color or number. Our tester liked the color game better than the numbers game, but said he would play both ways again. Overall a good game for this age group. I received this game in exchange for my honest opinion.

Fun preschool game

My 4 year old and 6 year old really enjoyed this game and have asked to play it several times since we received it last week. Love that this game can be played with either the colors or numbers side of the spinner. The pieces seem to be constructed well and fit back into the box nicely. My main complaints with the game is putting the worms into the "dirt" mound and keeping all of the worm tails under the mound while playing. Overall this game is a great preschool game! I received this game in exchange for my honest opinion.

Tons of fun with a little set up!

This game is tons of fun for my preschoolers. I like that it works on color identification and making comparisons. The game is simple and quick to learn. The kids LOVE the anticipation of the game It does have some cons: it takes some practice to learn how hard you need to pull the worms. When we started the game some worms and dirt went flying. It also takes a little bit of set up to play secondary to threading the worms through the dirt. Overall a good preschooler game if your kiddo can wait for the set up and pull worms slowly. I received this game in return for my honest opinion.

Counting, Colors and Comparison Fun!

I received a copy of the game in trade for my honest opinion. My almost 3 and 5 year old love this game. Although the 3 year old had some troubles grasping the concept and just wanted to pull out all of the worms at once, the older brother understood the concept and was patient (sometimes). The game is pretty easy to learn with a single page of easy to read and understand instructions. While the game box is pretty cheap, the game components are pretty durable. Other than patience, it's taught our kiddos color recognition, comparison and counting. The player age recommendation is spot on. We liked playing with just 3...mainly so we could get some longer worms! Fun game to play with the kiddos! 4.5/5 stars (only because the game box is pretty meh.)

Great game to work on learning numbers and colors

The Inch Worm game is adorable and a fun way to incorporate counting and colors. I really like the versatility of the gameplay. One can play the game by spinning the wheel to determine the color to find when pulling the inchworm out of the hole. Or the game spinner can be turned over to show numbers. This allows play to pull the inchworm out by number sections as opposed to colors. This is the perfect combination for preschool aged students. Although I really like the concept of this game, I can not give it 5 stars for two reasons. First, it is difficult to get the worms threaded through the dirt. Along with this, the worms do not nestle well under the "grass mound". Secondly, for a preschooler, it is difficult to know how hard/how much of the worm to pull up before it is too late and the worm is out and the parent is spending time rethreading the worm. Although I love the concept of the game, there are few thing things that I would love to change to make the game even better. All in all, though, we enjoy playing the game and like the variety that comes with it. It is like playing two games in one. It is a great value and as with all Ravensburger products, the quality is top notch. This game was provided to me in exchange for my honest review.

Fun game. Few small issues.

I received this game in exchange for my honest opinion. My daughter's (age 4 and 5) enjoyed playing Inch Worms. There were a few problems with the actual game pieces. The spinner doesn't work great, the grass mound needs to be held down when pulling up a worm and the worms aren't easy to snap together. So there is definitely room for improvement...But the actual game play is awesome. Great learning game too. If they worked out those mechanical kinks itd be 5 stars.
