I received the unit 3-4 weeks prior to using it, so I am "late" at posting this. It is working perfectly. It is cooling at 34 degrees set at mid range. I found that my larger size #5 cylinders will fit inside with a 15.5 keg - the included strap is a bit short as it was intended for the provided #2 1/2 - as expected. Aligning the tower and gasket to the unit was the toughest part of assembly - use silicone spray on the gasket. Unlike my other current unit, it does not have an "overflow/fill" built in - still well worth the price at the time.

Sweet cooler, sweet price
I have used this cooler since Christmas and already I'm on my third pony keg of beer. My neighbors love to come over for a cold one. Now I need to figure out how to get them the buy a keg or two.
Nice Unit, but Needs a Thermostat Modification
This Unit arrived in two days in perfect condition a week ago. I looked at a variety of websites, and found this unit to be the best value for a lower priced beverage frig. Many of the other reviewers confirmed that their research also showed this unit to be the best value available. There is a significant design defect in this unit however; per the manufacturer, Curtis International, this unit is designed for a minimum operating temperature of 45 degrees. Personally, I prefer to serve my beverages at quite a bit lower temperature. I read some reviews that stated there is an easy way to adjust the thermostat and watched a youtube video on the subject for another brand. After messing around with the thermostat for a few days, with no success, I called the manufacturer and found out that this frig is simply not designed for cool enough temperatures. I bought an STC-1000 electronic temperature controller ($18 + shipping) and wired it up to replace the factory thermostat. My frig is now set at 35 degrees and is working like a champ. An even simpler solution, I discovered while modifying my unit, would have been to simply move the temperature sensor that is taped to the coldest part of the frig by the manufacturer. I did not experiment with this method, but moving the sensor should dramatically lower the operating temperature. The factory position for this sensor is in contact with the cooling element; once moved from that location, the sensor would indicate a lot higher temperature causing the compressor to run a lot more. Last point, you can buy a frig thermometer at Walmart for six bucks to verify that you are attaining your desired temp with this frig.
I just bought this one as a backup and storage of a keg when I buy. I was supposed to get it when Sam's had the one day sale but it was sold out by 0900 when I tried. I purchased it as soon as they had it back in stock. I have two others and this one has the settings inside so it is nice but a digital reading would be nice. It was easy to assemble since I've done it twice before and was very cold when I tested it. The rack on top doesn't fit in tight but is workable. The drip tray is one of the better ones that I've seen and I would like to get two more for my other kegerators but I haven't found any place that sells this one. For the $400 it is very good but would have been great if I had gotten it at the $300 sale price.
As I expected from other reviews, it did arrive with a few small dents in the door...was very well packaged though. Love the way it looks in my kitchen, and gets very cold, 37 drgrees. Overall am very happy, especially with the low cost...great value!
Decent fridge, the accessories are a joke.
Decent fridge , but the regulator is a joke. It would not hold a consistant presssure. I went out and got a new one. The tap seems very light duty and the hose came so short we could not try and use the hose length to help with the beer flow. If you get this fridge, just be prepared to purchase another 130 dollars of items to make it work.
Gets the job done if you can set it up
If you can figure out how to set it up then the kegerator is great. The instructions are worthless. It will say look at picture A on page 6. Umm... there is no picture A on page 6, there is on like page 18 that is blurry and useless. Most of the instructions are like that. This is a first time kegerator for a non-first time owner. Luckily I had help from some friends who own a kegerator of their own. Even they were baffled for awhile but its up and running and works great. I gave it 3 stars only due to the setup instructions, the Value, the fact that beer comes out, durability and appearance are all good.
Does not get cold enough
We recieved it in great condition and it was easy enough to put together but we were unable to get the temperature inside the cooler to lower than 47 degrees F.
I bought this item a month ago and it is the worst purchase of my life. From the below pictures, they give you great detail as to the condition of the item. To be detailed, both sides are smashed in, and there is a dent on the top. The condition of the item is terrible. Avoid this purchase at all costs.
Horrendous customer service
I purchased my Kegernator on 7/4/18 online and it was delivered on the 6th. On the 8 th, I attempted to assemble it and noticed the rubber gasket for the bottom of the dispensing tower was missing. I have called the help desk 6 times finally recd a form email from customer service. I submitted the email with required attachments at least 4 times with no response. Yesterday I printed everything out and mailed it to them in hopes of a response. Still have not operated the unit. Never again
