Finally we found a door that was easy to install, looks great and fits our dog's size. We have a 110 lb female Ridgeback and the X-Large was so narrow that we had to return it. Yes, the super-size is large enough for a small person to go thru, but that is the price you pay when you have a large dog. Love it, she figured it out on the second try. She likes it too because she can "check out the yard" from the garage before going thru the door.

The Perfect Size

This exact product/size was purchased at Wal-Mart approximately 18 years ago. Since our door had to be custom cut to accommodate the product dimensions, it was important that we could still find a replacement. Over the course of three (3) large dog lives, the door finally gave out, thus the reason for this recent purchase. I am pleased to report that it fit our door perfectly and is still made out of good quality materials. A very hard plastic structure...bottom line, it works and if it lasts another 18 - 20 years, I would consider it a good value. We checked around at competing national pet stores and we were unable to find a product that had these exact dimensions AND the pricing was much more costly as well. Wal-Mart has a good product in these doors and I highly recommend them. Also, I ordered this from the Wal-Mart website and had it delivered at our local store for pick-up. It was sent in a very timely manner and there were no problems associated with the transaction. Sincerely,

Great Pet door with easy assembly; made to last.

We've been wanting a doggy door for a long time. We have three dachshunds and I was getting really tired of opening door for them all the time or leaving screen open for them to come and go, this summer especially the flies were horrid so we finally figured it was time. The only thing that we were disappointed about was that the thickness of screen door and thickness of doggy door were different. The doggy door was way thicker so we had to cut and place additional framing between the doggy door and the screen door on the inside to get it nice and tight. Worked out perfectly though and we love it!

Over All A Great Value!

The door works fine for our needs.  Our 15 lb cat has to "squeeze" slightly in order to get through, but then he likes doing that anyway.

This kitty door is great! I have a couple large cats. They out grew the previous door. They like this one a lot better they can see thru the plastic.

Got to get it

This door was easy to install. Former purchasers mentioned that they removed the house door in order to facilitate installation. That was not necessary in my case. With the house door still on its hinges, I drew the dog door outline in place, used a drill to cut a hole in the 4 corners of the outline and used a skill saw to cut out the outline. Once both "sides" of the doggy door were set into the hole in the house door, I facilitated the difficulty of tightening the six screws by squirting WD40 into the doggy door screw areas. It made tightening everything SO MUCH EASIER!!!! This was the one thing I would HIGHLY recommend in order to make the installation a breeze!

Pet Door for Pets up to 35 Lbs.

This dog door met my expectations. My dog seems to like using it, he had no problem learning how. I'm not sure how it will hold up over time since I did choose a plastic vs an aluminum pet door. It was easy to install. The clear plastic flap is lightweight which is easier for a more timid dog to use.

great door for small and average size cats, but not for the bigger ones. I like the magnetic closure. Looks good installed. The slide lock-out panel is harder to close than I would like.

this was easy to install and nice and large for easy access for the mutt...the flap will not stay closed, the magnet just not enough, the slightest breeze blows it open and allows air and bugs in

I ordered a medium door and when I received it I thought it looked small. My dog which is half cockerspanial and pekinese weighing at 14 lbs. couldn't fit through the door. I had to return it. I don't think your measurements on your doors are accurate. But I will remain a Wallmart customer faithfully.
