Fast and Secure for Mountain Riding
Huffy has built such a quality product with this Men's Hardtail 21-speed Mountain Bike. The bike arrived at the door in a big box, packaged very secure. Easy to remove from the box and follow directions to assemble the pieces not attached to the frame. You have to attach the seats, handlebars and brakes to the handlebars. You also need to attach the water bottle holder and reflectors. You will need an allen wrench to install a few pieces. This bike has rear and front dual disc brakes making you feel comfortable to ride down steep hills or mountains because it stops quickly and helps you slow down when you're in rocky or muddy mountains. Great suspension in the front making it comfortable to ride down fast hills, jumps and mountains. The seat is comfortable and padded well. With 21 speeds it's easy to shift gears quickly while riding. The light gray color is awesome with black forks and blue and green neon stickers. The bike is very fast, light and easy to jump. I am very happy with this bike! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

This bike have some really good idea for upgrading parts. The rear derailleur is a generic shimano, but with $148, I would've expect tourney class. The front derailleur is terrible, generic, and also expect to be tourny as well. The front and rear disk brakes are good and solid, works well. The handle bar is a standard 580cm steel, rather heavy. The grip shifters are generic as well, but works okay. Paddles are cheap plastic style, which works fine, but should be upgraded. The fork, granted it says 80cm, but I doubt it. It will work fine for streets and gravel/dirt trails. The threadless stem is a great touch, but with only 2 bolts holding the handle bar is a death wish, if you ever do some jumps, even small jumps. It should be upgraded to a 4 bolt pattern. It is a steel frame, so it's rather heavy, and the freewheel doesn't have the mega range, so uphill paddling will be a workout. I was very close to purchase this bike, but there is a massive problem. I believe the frame size is 16", granted it's using 26" X 2.1" tires. Well, when I turn the handle bar, my foot touches the tire. Please take a look at my attached photo. Hence, I cannot turn and paddle at the same time?? Massive design flaw!!

Amazing bike for the $

This thing rocks for the price. I recently am poor and had to sell my $3000 mountain bike. Needed something affordable to get around and still both the trails. Broke off the plastic guards on the front and back gears, flipped the handlebar stem, got a 400mm seatpost because the one it comes with is way short, put on some clear oddessey twisted pedals, dremmeled off the welded on kickstand mount, threw on a couple cool fenders, took off all the stickers except the cool HUFFY ones on the downturn, left those on to see the looks from the snobs on 5k+ bike when I pass them on the trails LOL. $150+$50 in upgrades....... And yes you actually can ride any mountain bike trail even technical ones with no problem. Can't believe it has a tapered head tube too. Wish the frame was aluminum not steel but hey steel is real LOL.

I love it

This bike rides so smooth, and just the right height.the brakes are great ,I'm so happy with this bike.the colors are beautiful.i recommend it. The brakes don't fast stop on me where it would sling me off.the seat is really comfortable [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Best bike ever

It is the best bike I could get for Christmas and the suspension is awesome for mtn biking and you can use it for a normal riding bike and u can do tricks better like while because of the suspension and I would like to say great job making this keep up the great work.

Best bike ever

I modified this bike alot. I changed the pedals grips and new tires, took off all the stickers and shifters and made it a single speed. Lubed up the chain and put the psi to 60, im a personal mechanic so i maintain it well. I ride about 200 miles a week on it, and i can say after two months or 1k miles on it, its great. I love it.
