First impression was not good

The box looked like it was a war zone refugee, but the dryer inside was undamaged. The "line" is stretchy plastic, so they tend to stretch out really easily and have to be tightened each time, but over all, it works as it should.

My new SOLAR/WIND Power Dryer

One morning I woke up and the electric dryer was still running from the night before drying a load of towels. I used the "sensor" selection and apparently it took more than 8 hours to dry. I absolutely freaked thinking of my next electric bill and within a couple of days, I had ordered this clothes dryer. It arrived at the Site to Store counter rather quickly and by the weekend I had everything ready for installation. Using the reviews from this website, I knew exactly how much concrete I needed. Spring time in North Texas is wonderfully windy, so my towels, jeans, comforters and sheets are all drying quickly and cheaply. AND my sheets and towels smell marvelous!!!! The best feature will come in the fall when I can lower this dryer like an umbrella and store in it the garage until the warm spring winds blow again next year. Whether you want to go GREEN with this energy saving solution or just want to see a dip in your electric bill, I recommend this product for it's simplicity and it's mobility.

Great Buy

I purchased this outside clothes dryer to try to reduce the amount of electricity we use. It appears to be pretty solid and I have had up to 3 loads on it at a time. Don't need any more than that because the clothes are dry after 3-4 hours. No issues with it tipping or anything like that. We have a covered deck so we decided to put this on the deck so we could use it in all weather. We also purchased a cast iron patio umbrella stand and we just placed this in it. When We aren't using the clothes dryer I just close it and slide it against the house. It takes less than a minute to set up but we do put a tie on the lines before folding it up (like it was when we took itout of the box. It helps to ensure the lines don't tangle. As it gets colder we will move it into the basement and continue to hang our clothes to dry in the winter. I don't have a negative thing to say about this product. I'm sure that if we take care of it it will last as long as we need it.
This dryer was a replacement for a slightly smaller model that we'd had for a long time, until the pole rusted through (we don't take it in in the winter). The price, even before the employee discount, was about twenty dollars less than I could find anywhere else for a similar item, and for whatever reason, the shipping was free even to my home. The lines will be slack when you unpack the dryer; this is necessary and to be expected. In fact I usually take them loose and rethread them through every other hole, which reduces the capacity but allows better air circulation and speeds drying time. I find this dryer very easy to install; I had sunk a pipe for the old one, and bought this model specifically because the pole was the correct diameter to drop right into the existing pipe. Since the automatic dryer is one of the biggest electricity hogs in the household, it doesn't take long for this line dryer to pay for itself, and things sure smell better. Besides, sunlight is one of the best bleaches you can find!
This is a sturdy clothesline. It has parallel lines which allows me to hang sheets and other bedding.

great product/fast shipping

I ordered this 30 like parallel dryer on a Thursday night and it was waiting outside my door Friday afternoon when I got home. Estimated date was to be the next Tuesday. I had a little problem with one of the brackets slipping out but rather than having to take it back I just let it down and did a little tweaking and it went right in the slot. Yes, there is a lot of sagging in the lines but that is the only way they can sell it and put it in a box. If It was any tighter it wouldn't open.. found that out after I tightened up my lines. I love how clothes smell after being dried outdoors, so to say the least I am very pleased with this product.

Great Buy

The Clothes Line was just as I expected. Very easy to understand directions on putting It together. Looks great, works great, all around great buy !~!

Wonderful line dryer

It was very easy to install, & can be taken out & folds up with no trouble. Was delivered to the store in a timely fashion. Can dry lots of clothes on the lines.

"You get what you pay for"

Good value compared to other clothes dryers in this price range but you do "get what you pay for". Two things to know which I didn't realize until I received the unit: 1) The strings are continuous loops that weave through holes in the support tubes. If the string breaks while you've got a full load of wash on the line, you'll probably find all of the wash connected to one side of the dryer on the ground! Our previous dryer had individual lines on each side. Not a big deal - keep an eye on the line over time for signs of wear. 2) They say that the steel main post is galvanized. If it is, it must be a mild treatment because it doesn't look much different than raw tube steel. I painted my post....rather than wait to deal with the eventual rust.

Hayneedle clothline 4000

So far so good,my old cloth line (same type but made in USA) lasted 27 years, rootted out at the base. This new one went in pretty easy, dug out the old sonnet cardboard tube with concrete. Be careful breaking up the concrete with a sledge hammer, wear safety glasses. Installed a new sonnet tube 20 inches below the grade and filled with 2 bags on concrete mix and added a few stones to take up room to fill exactly to the top of the grade.I was creful to make sure the plactic sleeve was even at the top of the grade. I poked a stick probally a metal rod would be better to insure the bottom of the sleeve drains. I inserted the bottom tube into the sleeve and used a level to make sure it was level. I let dry for 24 hours before installing the upper section of the dryer, careful opening the dryer make sure the lines are on the right side of the center pole. I just finished hanging my first load of clothes. Only wish this item was made in USA unstead of China. All the bestDaniel Parker
