Not a shill; no association. My home has two short-haired cats and one long-haired human. It's a one-bed apartment. This wad of hair is what this vac got—even after I went over most of the place with two other vacs. 13x9x4 inches. Battery lasted just long enough to hit everything.

Poor performance compared to older model
I owned an older model of the Hoover Linx Cordless for at least 8 years (on left in photo). It was GREAT! We are an older couple with 3 cats and concrete floors, so it was perfect for our needs. The handle finally started to be really wobbly where it connects to the motor section, but we taped it together and it continued to do the job. I finally decided it had earned a rest, so moved it upstairs where it might only be needed occasionally. And bought this model as a replacement last November. I immediately noticed that it wouldn't pick up cat litter (big issue at our house) without me going back and forth over it 2-3 times. And the motor sounded quieter, but I'm thinking that was actually LESS POWER. Finally brought the old workhorse downstairs and compared. It won hands down. New one LOST. (Battery hasn't been a problem like others have said, FWIW). I actually bought 2 as gifts for my kids...now I wonder if theirs is as unimpressive as my new one. Hoover, what did you change? And WHY? Please respond!

Love how much it picks up and the fact it is so light weight and is cordless .

I have back issues and cant handle my regular Hoover Vacuum anymore. I have three now one for each level. It picks up dirt I didn't know was in my carpet.

Love it !!!

I heard about it from my sister-in-law and how well it picks up dirt so I bought one for myself I love. Then my mom heard about it so I bought her one then my sister heard about it so I bought her one they both love their's I just recently bought another one love it . Nothing wrong with the first one .

WAY Better Than Expected!!!

I asked for & got this as a Christmas gift. I was quite skeptical about pick up ability on area rugs & battery life, but upon taking it outta the box, thought I'd give it a try. After charging the battery, what started as a test run on one rug ended up being a whole house vacuum (1800 sq ft). I was shocked at just how good it picked up (possibly better than my Kirby?) & ease of use!! Instant convert!

Does the Job Well

We have two of these, one at home and one at our cottage. We use it extensively and it's easy to maintain. We use it for rugs, carpets, hardwoods and laminate floors. I also ordered several for an elderly friend who wanted one like ours and like it so much, she asked me to order the LiNX Stick Vac as gifts for her siblings.

Super fun and efficient

I was SO tired of reeling up cords and hunting for electrical plugs just to clean up a little mess......eureka!!

I can now vacuum on the fly.....

Handy dandy cordless vacuum

I bought this little vacuum for the convenience of cordless and full sze. I needed it only for hard floors. I have my Dyson for the carpet. I really like the convenience of the battery but it does not last very long. I just ordered a second battery to have a backup. I ordered it from Amazon.com because it was the cheapest . Also since I only needed this for hard floors and mainly for dustbunnies and dog hair. I removed the bristle brush so that hair would not get clogged and twisted in it. It works much better for me because there is no blockage of section. It picks up just about everything from hair, dirt, grass, small bits of glass etc. etc. Besides the battery being a bit short it does have one big issue. I posted a picture to show the problem. When you pick up a lot of hair and dog hair the red cone becomes entangled with the hair. It may have been because too much there was in the pickup basket or this may be an ongoing problem. It has happened twice. I just wish they would come out with a powerful battery operated vacuum that is made just for hard floors similar to what Dyson puts out. But unfortunately Dyson only has corded vacuum cleaner. So over all I really like this vacuum now with the extra battery I can go even longer.

Light

I bought this about a month ago to be able to do quick daily pick up of scattered kitty litter that is tracked in. The suction is not quite good enough to pick up easily, even though it is very small amounts. Also, tried on the rug, but it clogged up and was difficult to clear. It is probably a good product for light dust cleaning, but not for cat hair or litter

Replacement vacuum

I bought this to replace the one I had that was just like it. It lasted 2 1/2 years and I was pleased with it. However, not so much with the new one. The suction just seems weak, even on the new, fully charged battery. I'm having to go over and over small light weight dirt particles when on the bare floors. It's quite frustrating. I have checked the intake tube for blockages but it's all clear. So sadly, I would not recommend this vacuum especially since I use the vacuum several times a day and need one that is efficient.
