Better than a Dyson
I tested a new Dyson DC41 Animal $599.00 and a Hoover High Performance UH72600 $175.00 and the Hoover kicks butt. I vacuumed my carpet with my old vacuum with a new bag, then half with the Dyson and the other half with the Hoover. The Dyson had a 4" ball of my dogs hair and the Hoover had a 6" ball. Then I vacuumed over the Dyson's half with the Hoover and picked up more hair. I tried the Dyson over the Hoover's half, but no hair. All the test I tried the Hoover was the leader. But I must say that the Dyson had a longer cord. Oh I also tried a $120.00 Hoover Elite Max Capacity Pet and found it worked just as good as the High Performance. I just like the High Performance better.xcgfatboy

Hoover High Performance Bagless Upright Vacuum
I regret to say this is my 3rd Hoover vacuum cleaner in 8 years , the first one is still good but is a bag vacuum, the last 2nd two, the last being the Hoover High Performance Bagless Upright Vacuum purchased September 7,2016, is really cheaply made. the side loops that hold the hand vacuum hose has already broken off and the paddle to change from no brush to brush is iffy, sometimes it takes 2 or 3 times to get it to work. I am returning the vacuum.Wrongcolors

- 5 out of 5 stars review5/18/2021Best Vacuum Cleaner on the Planet!!!I purchased this vacuum cleaner in 2018 and it was absolutely fabulous!!! It was inadvertently thrown away in 2019 and I had a less desirable model purchased for me. I dealt with the other model for almost two years. When I ran across the model details for the WindTunnel I purchased before; I purchased it again. I am totally satisfied with my vacuum cleaner NOW and the ease of my cleaning experience. I have only ever used Hoover products and this vacuum cleaner has been the best yet!!! I have had two different models in the past few years and this model is fantastic.P. Kelly

I have high pile carpet that soon after it was installed two years ago became matted down and my dogs hair was completely entwined in it. Yesterday I was browsing through the store and came across this vacuum. I liked the features it has and that it said it is great for homes with pets. So I bought it. As soon as I got it put together (all of 5 minutes and one screw) I tried it out. Since I had vacuumed the day before I wasn't expecting to get much out of the carpet I just wanted to see how this machine worked. WOW! - 3 out of 5 stars review7/28/2020Great suction, but ...This vacuum definitely has suction power. I like the fact that when using the hose/tools, the beater bar stops rotating. DOWNSIDE: there is no brush attachment with the tools, which I had to order separately. Also, the toggle that holds the hose in place has broken (cheap plastic, no doubt) so the hose just dangles unless I tape it with duct tape. I contacted HOOVER about a replacement part and was given a part number and basically a 'good luck with it' message. This is after only 7 months' of use. Why don't companies stand behind their products anymore?
