So i was a little worried bc of the bad reviews. My son has to always be cool bc the medication he takes makes him unable to sweat. I was very surprised by this air conditioner. After only a few minutes on his bedroom went from 82 degrees to 62 degrees. He stays cool at night and wakes up happy. Im very happy with this and will be buying another one for my living room as well. Also his room is farely large about 30×30 and this does a wonderful job keeping it cool.

Super small witch i love , makes my room freezing cold!!
I love my new Hisense Portable Air Conditioner. It cools up to 200 sq ft. 115 volt. This unit comes with everything you will need for easy install. Sliders for your windows as well as the exhaust hose and drain hose are included. Also includes a carry handle and remote control. Very fast cooling system. Also comes equipped with a reset button and fuse in the back. So far I love it very breezy. I think this will be perfect on my closed in porch this summer. It does exactly what is advertised and well.
We are pleased with this unit so far. To be fair (not a Letterkenny reference, lol) we are in Wisconsin and it hasn't even reached 85 degrees yet. We are also in a spot where the sun does not hit hard. We previously had a window unit in the living room only. This allows us to move this nearer to the bedrooms at night if required and if this summer is like the last few we won't need this for more than two months. We keep it in the living room and the area it cools regularly is approximately 15 x 20 or exactly 300 square feet. It definitely does what they advertise it does. Unfortunately our refurbished unit came minus a few of the hardware pieces but we worked it out on our own. It says it doesn't need draining and after several days of continuous use that appears to be correct as well. The window we're venting out of opens vertically at 48" and the kit fit that just fine. You WILL need foam insulation around the kit. It says it comes with it. Ours did not. We purchased that for under ten bucks at Dollar General as we're in a small town and not near any major stores. It's in the upper 70s today and keeping this at 74 has made it VERY cold inside. I'm about to turn it off. I'd recommend this for single room use with average celling height and moderate climates and you will be very happy. It's the difference between uncomfortable/ mildly uncomfortable and extremely comfy indoors.
No user manual!
The air conditioner looks like it will work well, but it doesn't include handling and operating instructions or a user guide that it boasts to have on the box that it's packed in. Kind of disappointing considering the amount of money I paid.
So far, so good.
So far, so good. It's only been used for a couple of days. But keeps my daughter's room very comfortable.
Works well keeps room cool. Love remote control
Ok a.c. minus the missing remote control.
This portable a.c runs good and cold! Beware of the word " refurbished" because ours was missing the remote...
Worst purchase EVER.
I have had this just for about 9 weeks and have had nothing but continual problems with it. Shuts off constantly and then when it is working, which is not often, beeps and the display flashes on and off. I have read numerous things online to try and figure out what's wrong with it and basically all threads had one thing in common, bad compressor or numerous other faults suggesting it was not reconditioned too well. I would suggest paying the extra few bucks for one that is not reconditioned. I paid around 300 for this and have now had to order a new, different brand, not from Walmart which was 400 that actually comes with a great factory warranty.
