Take an interactive tour
Really was back and forth about getting a tv with all the options available at Walmart. Then I saw a Hicense Roku tv, didn't think much of it till I checked around and compared prices. AMAZING TV for the quality and very negotiable price range..I LOVE my Hicense Roku tv!!!
Hisense 55" Roku
Highly recommend this TV as your required high definition upgrade. Be sure to purchase a powered antenna for local channels. Easy set-up for daily use. I no longer need to use a speaker system as the sound quality is the best I've heard from a stand alone TV. Just wait until you watch your first football game in 4k
Excellent Smart TV Interface
Bought this TV because I wanted a smart TV operating system that would play-friendly with all of the various streaming services and Roku seemed like the best bet.
The Roku integration and interface is intuitive and works wonderfully. My parents and other visitors can pick up the remote and figure out how to use the TV.
The pause live tv feature is great, though sometimes it skips ahead. Haven't figure out why.
Bonus is being able to use the smartphone app as a remote (after the TV has been turned on).
I love the size and quality of the tv and picture . it does over heat and restart randomly some times, especially when used all day. so unplugging and giving it a few minutes helps and it's great for a while after. I think all electronic items need this reset at times. i had it for 1 year, and love it.
This is a great TV for the price. As long as you are exclusively streaming this does the job. Picture is excellent and it has great sound. We did choose to go with cable TV and it's a little annoying to have to use two separate remotes, one for the TV to get into the “app” for cable and then having to use the other remote to change channels and such. But that isn't really the TVs problem and we plan on going back to exclusively streaming once our year with spectrum is up anyways.
the "motion 120" is misleading you to think this TV will have as good of a picture as an actual 120hz refresh rate TV. dont be fooled, it is only 60hz and you can tell. not bad for $300
issues come early on in the life of the product..
I haven't had this TV even a year and it has already started malfunctioning in a number of ways. The remote randomly works but mostly doesn't so I've completely gone to using an app, closed captioning keeps going to Always On whenever I change between apps, the audio guide has turned on a couple of times as well and the TV tuner is overly sensitive and cuts out the picture whenever there's even the smallest change in signal strength. There's also no Bluetooth available on this TV so private listening needs to be done through the app as well or the addition of a soundbar. I'd be hesitant to purchase another Hisense product even at their dirt cheap prices.
sound quality is terrible
sound quality is terrible sometimes have to turn it up to 100 level and still bad sound I bought 2 of these TV's and ai have a stereo that is Bluetooth and could get quality sound from it but ROKU made it impossible to Bluetooth to any other sound system unless its ROKU speakers which if I had known that when I bought the 2 TV's I would have bought another TV totally wrong to block other wireless speakers or stereos.
1 I had two of these they both had big problems. The first one came on four or more times at night and day. That was from the start.I called they never fixed it ,The second one went black screen. I called they said they would fix but never did any thing. I Will never buy Hisense .
