Science Diet Cat foods.
Our Youngest Daughter worked for a Vet. Service in Toccoa Ga., and she got us our first two Black cats. ( A Manx, & an American Shorthair. ) The Vet. recommended "Science Diet, and we used it faithfully. Our first two cats lived with us for over 21 years, and then passed within a year of each other. It was a hard & terrible loss for us. We got two more new kittens (notice I said New, not replacement) about a month and a half later. Again, both Black. ( An American Shorthair & a Maine Coon.) We decided immediately that they would also eat Science Diet foods. I orders from Wal-Mart, as it is not available at their prices anywhere near here. We are very pleased with the food, and with Wal-Mart delivery. The only thing better would be if Wal-Mart actually carried it in the stores.

Kibble much too large, cat couldn't bite into it
Our cat, a 14-lb basic domestic short hair, eats different varieties of Hills dry foods. When she starts to lose interest in one, we'll rotate in another until she starts to lose interest in that, at which point we rotate in another, and so on. Tonight I brought home a bag of the Adult 7+ dry food. Upon opening it, my first thought was that it must be mis-bagged dog food based on the kibble size. I gave her some anyway to see if she could eat it. She could not. She was able to chip a piece off of one after a minute or so but finally gave up and walked away. I'm taking it back to the store right now for a refund. Even after reading a couple of comments that mention the large kibble, it is inconceivable to me that the stuff in the bag I brought home is meant for a cat. I don't think my old Maine Coon - a very large, very strong cat - would have been able to handle this stuff.

Miss Finicky and Mr. Always Hungry both love it!

Cats seem to really love it. Got them off dry food completely and was worried about what to introduce back into their diet. Thought I'd try Hill's Science for indoor cats. My younger male gorges himself and I have to limit him. My older female is good about feeding and never overdoes it. With one extremely picky cat and one not so picky, I was concerned that one would like it and the other not, but the truth is, they both love it. Guess I'll be sticking with it. Unfortunately, the $5 coupon expired today and since I got this only a week and half ago, and it's such a huge bag, it was not prudent for me to run out and store the dry food for the four months or so it will take them to get through this bag, so I lost out on the money saving coupon for next time.

Healthier cat

My aging cat had a urinary infection a couple of years ago. Since she was already using this brand and loved it, The veterinarian recommended we use the Urinary care moving forward to keep her healthy. We continue to use Hills high quality product today

My cats love it!

My cats love this food. It has helped them with hairballs. The only complaint I have about it is that the pieces of kibble are so large. My cats have trouble chewing it up and will sometimes spit it out. Some of the other flavors of Science Diet are very small kibble. I wish you would make all of your dry food the smaller size.

Rescued kitty tummy problems solved at last!

Last December of 2015, a poor malnourished kitten was found abandoned along side the highway, in the freezing rain/snow with no where to go. Too sickly even to go to the vet, he needed to get his strength & anemia resolved. Strength renewed, he still had issues with food. He suffered from stomach upset & gas to the excess! His stools were pasty & he wheezed. Several cat food brands were tried. Even very expensive cat foods! Which only made his condition worse! After MUCH research, Hills cat food kept coming up for digestion problems. After he reached a year old and was neutered, we were told that we could switch to an adult cat food. We switched to Hill's Sensitive Skin & Stomach, Egg & Rice cat food. Immediate results! After gradually switching to Hill's he was even able to eat to his heart's content. (He now eats the recommended amount suggested on the bag, because he was eating a bit too much to his heart's content.) NO MORE GAS! NO MORE WHEEZING! NO MORE SLOOPY STOOLS! The awesome bonus is that he looks gorgeous in his new coat! Thank you Hill's for helping our abandoned kitty get the life he deserved!
