HP 15.6" Laptop
I've used this for about 5 months and am satisfied with the performance.

Good Basic Laptop
This laptop is a lower end model laptop with a touchscreen. to keep the cost down it has less RAM and Hard Drive space than other similarly priced laptops. But it does have a "Touch Screen" which is rare for laptops in this price range under $350. It seems like to keep the costs, down they used the cheapest speakers and other components possible. There is NO Bluetooth connection and only thee USB plugs 1 USB 3 and two USB 2, it does include an HDMI and Ethernet plug as well as an SD Card reader and a Multifuntion DVD burner which are all nice to have in a laptop for this price. If they had included a Bluetooth connection and speakers which didn't sound broken on the first week I would have given this a 5 star rating.
Solid PC but the build quality is not too good.
It performs pretty good but don't expect perfect performance and heavy gaming. It has a bit of bugs both on W8 and W10 like the most annoying one to me is flipping it on and the touchpad (not touchscreen) gets stuck and does not work til you reboot. Otherwise its pretty good. Now to the build quality.. the hinges are bad; they're weak but are not loose. Holy darn the paint job blows too; scratches look bad. They look like chalk streaks on the paint job. The touchscreen is useless and drains battery. That stuff aside its a pretty good laptop for browsing, streaming, and storage stuff.
Great except for speakers
Would be a 5 if the sound system worked better
Not Worth The $$$
If you have other options, please choose them over this laptop. My daughter's computer didn't last a year. After trying to get in touch with HP for several weeks, the warranty conveniently expired. The motherboard needs to be replaced. The price to repair this cost more than the actual computer. So...we would have been better off buying a computer for $700 since this is what it will cost us if we decide to repair it on our own. For this, I would rather invest in a different; perhaps better brand.
Barely lasted a year
Barely lasted a year before the hard drive DIED completely. Look at other online reviews-seems to be a frequent problem with HP now.
