We bought one and it rusted fairly quickly.  So, when we bought it again, we sprayed it with clear lacquer.  It&#39;s been fine, now, for a year.

I measure the opening to be just a hair over 7 inches.

No, definitely NOT rust-resistant.  I bought the &quot;satin finish&quot; one and it rusted within 4-5 weeks.  I took it down, brushed off all the rust, then sprayed with Rust-Oleum- hope this will keep the rust at bay...  Really like the design, though.  It fits my hand-held shower perfectly.

It stays up on the shower head. There are backs to all the compartments, it doesn't require suction cups to hold anything! We have a hand held shower head and it works amazingly !!

I was a little skeptical of this under $20 purchase as I saw similar products elsewhere for lots more $$$ with bad reviews! I LOVE this product! Love the nickel finish, love that sliding shelves hold even the tallest container of soap/shampoo/anything! Buy it-you will be happy!

I've had this caddy up for a couple of weeks & so far so good. I love that the baskets expand to the sides & out of the way of the shower hose. It even has a little hook in the center to hold the hose back, out of the way. It also comes with a silicone/rubber piece already attached that keeps it secure on top of the shower neck. It has stayed in place very well. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Perfect for hand held shower heads

Sitting sturdily on my handheld shower head, this caddy allows ease in using the handheld capabilities of the shower. It fits salon size shampoo bottles on the top. The shelves have a hole in the center of them that shampoo bottle tops can fit, making the shampoo bottle stand on its top when it runs low. I feel like it was the solution to my problem with unsteady over-the-shower caddies in the past. If you have a handheld shower, get it.

Great for handheld showers!

I had a horrible time finding a caddy that would hold even normal size shampoo bottles. On this caddy, both the bottom and top shelves will hold a big bottle of baby shampoo plus another normal size bottle, or approx. 3 normal sized bottles per shelf (x4). A detachable shower head hose fits right in the middle and a hook holds it back toward the wall. It also has 2 razor holders, but no bar soap tray though. Only problem I notice is that mine was missing the suction cup and still swivels a little. This thing is great, especially for the price.

Holds huge bottles

Installed a new large showerhead with hose and this expanding shower caddy works perfectly. The four baskets fold out and hold large items and the long hose fits perfectly in the center with a hook to hold it in place. The nickel finish matches my showerhead perfectly. It's been in place for several weeks, have hard water and it is holding up beautifully. Would highly recommend this product.
