    very good juicer
This juicer is very good. It has 800w motor and really extracts alot of the juice most of the "leftover" pulp is dry. The cleanup is a cinch. I always line it with a plastic bag. The total time for juicing and cleanup for 16 oz is under 10 mins. I love it and use it daily.

    Not a good first machine
Bought this for my step-mother. I helped her put it together and make sure it was properly assembled but on first operation, it still made a mess and leaked where I'm sure it wasn't supposed to. Scared my step-mother off of juicer-type machines. Unfortunate.

    Great Juicer

    Verified purchase

I only bought this after I saw "sick, fat and nearly dead" on Netflix. I am not over weight and I work out more than the normal individual but I believe in healthy food making a healthy spirit and wanted to add more nutrition to my diet. I use this about once a week and make a lot of juice in one shot because it makes a bit of a mess and cleaning is a little time consuming. A pitcher of juice takes about 30 minutes from start to finish with clean up. It is pretty efficient at removing all the juice in one shot but I usually put the pulp through twice. I also give the remaining pulp to my pitbulls, fair warning they eat everything healthy if you try with your dogs :) I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a juicer.

    LOVE MY BIG MOUTH ~~~

I juice almost every morning and for a late nite juice snack. *The only thing that I don't like about it is the cleaning must be very detailed.. If you do not clean it well there can be mold build up / or crusting of food even with a little food left behind. ** Once you brush all of the product off and clean it well make sure you let it dry completely** DO NOT EXPECT TO SEE A LARGE RECIPES BOOKLET WHEN YOU PURCHASE - There are maybe 2 included in the manual book. I personally know my fav fruits and veggies so I have created alot of my own excellent recipes .

    Great for the price

    Verified purchase

I will admit I have never had a juicer before. I saw the movie "Fat, Sick and nearly Dead" and decided I would start "juicing". There are many juicers out there and most of them are much greater price. This one is inexpensive enough to where I felt comfortable "trying" this juice movement thing (I have lost 10 pounds in 6 days). I did read a complaint about the noise this machine makes. I must admit it does make some noise and there is some vibration while it is extracting the juice from the pulp. It seems to make more noise if you try and hurry the process. So far I have had it 7 days or so and my only "complaint" would be the noise. But it is over quickly so you must decided what you want. An inexpensive juicer that does the job or a nice quiet one, you decide. As for me, I am quite happy with my juicer and plan on using it for many months or even years to come.

A lot of function for my dollar.

    Verified purchase

This is a powerful juicer and was the best value I could find. I'm a picky purchaser and hardly ever buy things impulsively or without investigating a product first. I don't like buying headaches. I've never owned a juicer so I have no context for a comparison. I put stuff into it and it extracts the juice, leaving very dry pulp behind so it appears to do what it claims to do. I don't find it hard to clean at all. It takes me about 15 seconds to assemble the juicer and about 2 minutes to take it apart and clean it when I'm done. It comes with a brush that does a great job cleaning out the centrifugal screen. I throw mine in the dishwasher on the "rinse only" cycle when I'm done cleaning the screen to make sure all the food is off of the parts and that's it. There is a photo on Walmart.com showing a whole apple about to be dropped into the juicer. I wouldn't drop a whole apple into this thing, though the wide opening would certainly accommodate a smaller apple. I cut up my fruits and vegies first because it will reduce the abuse to the motor and components. I would buy this one again.

    Not same as ConsumerReports

FYI: the "Consumer Reports" rated a different juicer with "PRO" in the name as model #67650 this one is # 67601. Considering the lower number, this product was considered inferior in the eyes of the OEM. It might not be a major difference in performance, but... I like this juicer but its not the same as one reviewer bragged about.

    juice extractor

    Verified purchase

I was using a bullet for juicing and decided to try this inexpensive juicer to see the difference. I was amazed at the speed; most juicers have only 400 rpm power and this one has 800. It juices a whole apple in about 2 seconds. The only problem I have is that the pulp is all over the machine when finished. The instructions say "rinse machine after each use" and I see why but it takes longer to clean up than it does to juice and consume. It works great for the purpose for which I bought it. The more expensive ones probably make as much mess on the machine parts, you just don't see that on the infomercials. I do use a bag liner to save a little time on clean up and save most of my pulps for baking fiber as suggested because I miss that extra fiber. I recommend this to anyone starting out juicing. It is inexpensive, fun to use, and makes great juice. Professional juicers are for more professional or commercial operations I think.

    Horrible, save your money.

I bought this product thinking it would be great. I WAS WRONG. I bought 2# bag of grapes and all I got was a little more than half a glass (see pictures). When I finished juicing I saw a lot of juice still in the pulp compartment I got my strainer out and got a lot of juice out of the pulp (the cup with a little juice is what I got out of the "dry" pulp). The full glass you see in the other picture is the total juice I got out of 2 lbs. of grapes 2 apples and 1 pear. Oh yeah, and once you remove the pulp compartment get lots of napkins because there will be juice all over the machine and your counter 'cause the parts were tested to fit properly so you will have to clean up some of your juice off the counter. Returning it TODAY.

    1. Anything with a thick skin such as oranges, mangoes, cantaloupe, etc must be peeled first. You do not need to peel apples, carrots, beets, etc. But with oranges yes, they must be peeled.

    3. Citrus peelings have a bitter taste so I, personally, do not like them in my juice. I peel pretty much all citrus. Try to get the white stuff off as well. It will make a better juice---guarenteed!

    4. As far as citrus I think u need the kind of juicer that spins while u hold a halve and push down. You def want to peel any citrus because of the bitter pith( the white stuff under the colored skin(zest) it would taste nasty if u juiced all of that.together. Just look for a lemonade type juicer if that's only the type of juice your making

    5. Yes on juicing the oranges. However, you may want to peel them first if you don't like eating orange rinds and their seeds.

    6. The manual recommends you peel citrus to eliminate the bitter flavor. It will go through with the peel on. I recommend using a vegetable peeler to get the waxy outer peel off and leave as much of the white part underneath as you can. This should give you the vest yield for flavor, nutrients, and juice

    8. You will probably want to use a reamer juicer for the citrus to get the most out of it..but you can probably run the peels through it, but be careful..it's going to be strong..so do it in small amounts.

    9. Yes, you will have to peel the citrus first. It will taste awful otherwise. Tried both ways and had to throw out the unpeeled citrus.

    10. You can put them thu with or without the peel, depending upon your taste preference. The peels will result in a more bitter flavor.

    11. It's okay to put lemons and limes through this model of juicer without peeling them. Orange peels, however, tend to be bitter and would affect the overall end result of the taste of your juice. So it would be best if you used only peeled oranges.

    1. I used some romaine lettuce with this juicer and it didn't seem to have a problem with it. Just be sure to go slow when adding the leafy greens so you can get the maximum juice out of them.
