Excellent Portable Air Conditioner, really well built and blows super cold air. We put it in our 2-car garage where we have our pool table with it vented out the side of the garage wall and it works perfectly.

Great portable AC
I bought it about 1 month ago now and it's been great it really does a good job at keeping the room cool I specifically got it to keep my salt water aquarium room cool and it does a great job at holding the room temperature at 79 degrees which is important if it goes past that I might loose fish I dont think it will though this is a quality product.
Perfect for small apt
We live in a very humid area and the cooling unit supplied in unit is a swamp cooler from the early '70's. Needless to say, that system does not work well at all to keep you cool. Not allowed to have window units so this is a perfect solution. We use this Portable A/C unit to cool a little over 300 sq ft. Due to the type of windows we have, it does not cool off like a well insulated house but works well enough to keep us comfortable. My spouse would probably enjoy it getting cooler but for me it is just right. Tucks nicely into a small corner. I am happy with my purchase and it is well worth $300 vs. close to $8,000 for a new system. Works for me!
Have used it for two months. Love it!! Does a job cooling my living room. So much easier than installing window units!! Had it completely installed in about 20 minutes. A little loud, but not worse than my old window unit.
We have had this unit for a few weeks now. Have no major complaints. Relatively easy to set up and quieter than our older window units. Average rating simply because it doesn't cool all that great. Have read the portables don't cool as well and it is apparently true.
buy with prudence: imperfect product with leaking defect
Overall it's cooling power is Ok, which is my original purpose to buy it. However it has several subversive issues: 1) too noisy (55dB at 3m away); 2) leaking (although it claims it is internally built with self-vaporization technique which shouldn't require drainage unless the environment is too humid. Yet even if the water tank is full due to humidify, a sign will light up while the machine will stop. In reality, this ideal situation never happened. Instead, it started to leak by itself from somewhere rather than the drain hole while the compressor was still running. I am seriously considering returning this product. Doesn't really cool
I bought this unit for my small studio apartment in SoCal. With the bathroom and kitchen doors closed, the room is no bigger than 350 sq. ft. I first tested it out on an evening when it was about 75 outside. The unit indicated that it was 78 degrees inside and I tried to cool the room to 72. It took about 2.5 hours to reach that temperature, and even then the cool air was concentrated to just in front of the air conditioner itself. It's not loud, but it's not quiet either. Setup was kind of a hassle. Everything was really easy to put together, but the hose refused to stay in the window attachment once the unit was turned on. I'll be returning this as soon as I can find someone to help me move it.
Nightmare portable ac
This is the worst portable ac on the market and is probably one of the worse purchases i have ever made. Im writing this will elevated blood pressure and steam coming out my ears. The set up is extremely difficult. The hose connector doesnt fit the back of the unit and barely fits the sliding window panel. Within 5 minutes of turning on the unit the water bucket was full and machine turned off. 1The hose connector slipped out in the middke of the night and i was woken up by hot air blowing on me on a hot humid night when the high was over 90. I called haeir in the morning an a GE rep tried to help me(they are owned by GE) but we couldnt figure out the hose. There are 2 drain plugs on the unit and its like a fortress. You have to undo numerous bolts and washers everything is complex for no reason. After i drained the unit i swear to god in 5 min i got same bucket full warning and it shut off. I gave up took the drain parts off and just have it flooding my floor. I am def returning this piece of crap and dont want to see the nane haeir again. I will never give them the chance to do this to ne again. Im on the verge of a stroke. It wouldnt be so bad if this piece of crap actually cooled the place but if im not standing with ny face inches from the vent i feel nothing. Im hot delirious and seething if you cant tell and there is a big ac humming next to me. I would smash it with a hammer but I need my momey back.
