Better than I expected!
Nice looking monitor.
Very easy to use and set up! HDMI works well w Xbox and laptop. Only suggestion is the POWER CORD not get put on a separate panel on the outside of the box. They should change the packing because that power cord panel was broken open when I got my package and it very easily could have fallen out.
Easy set-up. I took other reviewers advice and got a HDMI cord and so glad I did or I wouldn't have been able to get the monitor installed on the day I received it. I have a small space so the size is perfect. We liked it so much we ordered another for my husband's office.
I bought this monitor about month ago to connect it to my HP laptop. It works wonderful. Easy setup. Perfect addition for my work and homework station. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Beautiful monitor and excellent service
I bought two of these as a bundle, primarily because my desk and all its accessories are white and I wanted a white monitor for a clean look. The display is perfect for my needs (heavy desktop publishing and database management). My window is behind me and even with them open the anti glare works really well— so I can get a little light during my work day. I wish the base/stand was white as well; it is light silver. It was hard to tell color from the pictures online so to be clear to others— the entire back side is white, the base/stand is a light matte silver, and the front has a very very thin black frame, and about a 1/2” silver strip along the bottom edge.
Also, with regular (free) shipping, I ordered on Friday and one arrived Monday, the other on Wednesday. It was a little odd but the friendly HP customer service rep knew exactly why they got split and the location of the second one. And to get both within 3 bus days, I was perfectly happy. Very light and easy assembly
I bought this as an extra monitor for work. Having an extended desktop is great for the type of work I do and this monitor is right for the job. The one thing is it is not as bright as my Mac display but it gets the job done and it is was extremely easy to assemble and not a lot of configuration needed to be done as son as I connected it and turned it on it picked up the desktop immediately. The navigation from one display to the other is seamless. The only thing other is I had to prop up the monitor on a book to match the height of my iMac. But it is perfect. Love the sleek design and it is very light weight and the color is awesome
Good but shipping was awful
I bought it and said it would be delivered two days later. It finally shipped and arrived over a week later. But I like it other than that. Oh and I did not receive an hdmi cord to hook it up to my laptop to use as a second screen. It just comes with the standard tower cord.
Decent monitor, but missing HDMI cable.
My package arrived with a VGA cable, but without an HDMI cable. At the time of purchase, this product was advertised on the US website as including both cables in the box.
Unfortunately, the VGA cable is useless to me, as I'm connecting this to my Macbook Pro. If you're in the same boat, prepare to shell out an extra $10-$15 to buy an HDMI cable separately. I wish the product had been advertised correctly, so I would've known.
Overall, I'm satisfied with the quality of the monitor and the sleek hardware. The color runs warmer than on my Macbook Pro retina screen, but that can be fixed.
However, the fact that a key item was missing from the box leaves me wary of purchasing future HP products.
Ordered 2 and 1 didn't work.
Pretty frustrating. Ordered 2 and 1 didn't work. The power button was faulty and wouldn't turn the monitor on. Had to send it back, wait for them to receive it and then wait another 5-12 days for HP to send another. Something simple like this should've been identified during quality check.
Easy to destroy a Screen like this
Just had this Item for a few months and Somehow something on my desk lightly hit the screen and now the screen is no good anymore. I can't believe how easy you can destroy a computer screen. There is no Fiscal Damage that you can see, none at all but when the screen turns on it shows nothing but lines. I will not buy this type of screen again.
