Came home one day after the power went out and pc didnt work it would cut on and run up to the point it would say operating systems didnt shutdown cleany then it will say windows 10 didnt load correctly and send me into this never ending loop of trying to repair the operating systems worked jus long enough so i couldnt take it back and get a refund dont get it

very disappointed!! first one we bought and we could never get it to wake up so after a much heated debate we returned it to Walmart and exchanged for a another one. we brought it home, set up screen saver and went back several days later to use and it was off. We can not get it to power back on. I've switched power cords and everything, so here we are 600.00 later and no working computer again. so now I have to spend more of my time calling hp to get this situation resolved.

Rated 1 Star - Would rate Minus Stars if I could. Bought yesterday, "Tried" to install, boot, etc. today - Will return tomorrow. I'm not green to computers. This one: No lights, fans turn, blank/black monitor. Tried different outlets, monitors, cords, etc, etc. NOTHING. Virtual assistant on HP's web site was no help. Do Not Waste Your Time. I've had IBM, Dell, HP and stuck with HP for quite some time - It may be time for another CHANGE - May try Lenovo.
Upset with HP
I bought this PC twice and had to return it twice. I am so disappointed! The first one I call HP for assistance and the rep. did not help he kept trying to sell me a warranty which I had already purchased. I called for help the same day I received it because the video card was bad. I got so frustrated I just returned it and figured I would try again. The second time around the thing would not get pass the spinning HP sign on. I'm done with it. Garbage I am not going back for a 3rd one. I have several HP products this was the worse.
HP used to be a good choice when looking for budget computers, but I doubt I would ever buy another one of theirs again after this experience. When I found this PC at such a good price I was excited to get it home and set it up. I was looking for a good gaming PC on a budget and thought I had found a good starting point. I figured with a new power supply, graphics card, and a little RAM upgrade I would be good to go. The reality was an extreme disappointment, however. The first thing I noticed was that the power cord was loose. Even a little bump and the whole system would do a hard shutdown. However, as irritating as this was, this was not enough for me to take it back just yet because I figured I would have to upgrade the power supply anyway. When I started doing online research into what I would need to get a new graphics card and power supply for this system, I quickly realized it would not be that simple. HP uses a non-standard motherboard so you can only buy power supplies from them directly for it to fit - a power supply that is less wattage (310W) for twice the price of a standard 400W one. Considering they only place a 180W power supply in their systems to start with, this is a major rip-off. This was the last straw for me, so I decided I would do a factory reset to remove all the work I had put into it setting up my files from my old PC and take it back for a refund. I used Windows 10's restore program to do a factory reset... only for it to stall at 2%. It game me a message "There was a problem resetting your computer, no changes have been made." Resigning myself to doing it the long way, I attempted to reboot only for it to blue screen. It was now unable to even find an operating system. Apparently the failed factory reset was able to wipe the hard drive, but was unable to restore Windows 10 and the factory settings. From what I've read, that is a common problem with this particular model of PC. Needless to say, I just had to hope it cleared my personal files as I boxed it up and returned it to Walmart. I'm just glad it was within the fifteen day return period and I was able to get my money back with no fuss. I'll come back to Walmart for a budget monitor later, but I doubt I'll ever buy a pre-built PC from them again. I'm now buying a more upgradable one from Newegg instead. Found one with better specs that's $50 less than this one and did not have to pay tax or shipping. I did buy the office chair and speakers from Walmart though. At least I can trust those.
Don not buy
Purchased on apr 1, 2019. Went to Philippines on vacation on apr 4 never opened box, returned apr 12, 2019 the following weekend opened box apr 20, 2019 and went to set up computer and it would not start up, boxed back up went to Walmart and they will not accept returns over 15 days, had flight recipts to show I was not even here to use computer didn't matter gave me a stupid number for go support, now may 5 2019 and still no working computer do not buy HP nor purchase from Walmart it seems this is an issue and they choose to carry a substandard product.

1 rating is being generous. Bought it at 9:45 am. Back in the box by 1pm. Got a blue screen right out of the box. Hp tech support had me on hold for 45 mins before i gave up. The virtual assistant told me to run a 5 hr diagnostic. Sorry, just paid $600 with tax. Back it goes
