    Best Notebook Computer I've Owned
    I purchased this notebook to replace my outdated iBook G4. The Envy 17 3D is simply magnificent. It is speedy with an amazing display and keyboard. I can't say enough about the build quality. I'm a graphic designer. The computer runs all my 2D, 3D, video, and web applications without a hitch. Thanks HP for this wonderful product. I'm beyond happy.

    ENVY 17-3d - - Total Disappointment
    I ordered a custom built Envy 17 with the top of the line Processor, memory upgrade and hard drive and after waiting a month to get it, the thing would not even power up. Whats even worse is that the replacement time frame was 2 MONTHS.. I wanted to still get the ENVY so naturally i returned the defective one and reordered, only this time, i ordered the pre-built version so i wouldn't have to wait another month. When i received it, i was disappointed to see that it also had problems. It kept freezing up after 15-20 minutes of use and would often shut down and restart on its own. The thing that is most disappointing is that the laptop is beautifully designed and you can tell that the product design team put a lot of effort into it.. I mean...
