Good, Simple Printer

When I bought this last month it was only 40.00. It was worth it for that price. Easy to set up, easy to install software. I saw from the other feedback that no cable was included so I used one I already had. I must say - I really love this printer! I just needed something simple that printed well and this was a good choice. I followed the instructions on the printed test page to fine tune it as well as choosing the option to save ink during installation. The ink cartridge states it is only a "set up" cartridge so I don't expect it to last as long as a regular one. So far I've printed about 40 pages and it's going strong. I'm wondering if they raised the price because people mentioned buying a new printer is cheaper than buying new ink. I c...

Erratic Performance At Best

I bought this printer about a month and a half ago. This is the THIRD HP Deskjet 1112 Printer I have bought. The first one lasted longest and the second lasted just past the end of the warranty period. I continued to buy them because I only needed a simple, easy to operate printer (I don't need the scanning/faxing features that most others offer) and figured the second one was just one bad apple and not typical of HP products. I WAS WRONG! This third one has been one problem after another and I spend more time starting, troubleshooting, restarting and in general fiddling with it than I do printing. I am sorry, but I can no longer recommend the 1112 Printer.

    Best printer ever!

    This is perfect for printing. Gets the job done. I was sick of my fancy printer, copier, scanner, so I bought this basic thing. It was the best decision I ever made. No more waiting and trying to fuss with wifi to get a printer to print. Hook this thing up to your computer, and press print whenever you need to. It's awesome.

    Great, small printer for a low price

    Since buying this printer a couple of weeks ago, I've printed fifty pages or so of color and black-and-white, text, and pictures. So far it has worked flawlessly. I might add that pictures it prints are high-quality with very good definition. Setup on a Windows 10 machine was simply plug-and-play, and it has worked reliably ever since. It's a small-enough machine that I'm using it on a long road trip, and it just doesn't take much space.

    Printer only printer

    I was looking for an inexpensive printer only printer for one of our departments that only does occasional printing and this fit the bill. It is lightweight and easy to set-up. It prints in color also which is a plus!

    Good experience!

    I bought the HP Deskjet 1112 because I'd had nothing but good experience with the all-in-one HP Deskjet 2132. The 1112 is smaller and suits my new desk fabulously! It worked perfectly right out of the box. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
