I was looking for a compact all-in-one, not portable, just something small enough to fit on my desk and it fits the bill perfectly. I don't print a lot and I didn't want a huge printer cluttering my desktop real estate. The printer was easy to setup, I will admit I didn't follow the instructions the first time I tried to set it up but after I figured out I missed some steps and started over, the printer was up and running in less than 10 minutes. I am very satisfied with the purchase.

Great little printer
Nice, clean looking small printer
I really like this printer. As the title says, it is a Wireless printer. It took me a few tries but I was able to set this up on my network, enabled sharing on my devices and proceeded to try to print wirelessly from a different room. I was able to print from my phone, a laptop in the back office and my husband's laptop.
1. You have to download the APP: HP-Smart on each device you plan to use it on. It is available for download from both Apple app store & Googleplay. Do this on your phone 1st and then you can set up the WiFi from your phone.
2. Follow the directions from the app & the printer manual and you should be able to install and use your new wireless printer. One important thing I found out was that when you go to connect to a device (say a laptop) have the printer turned on and have paper in it. After your device finds the printer on the network and you select it a special WPS code will be printed out. You will be asked to type in that code which is required before printing with it. My only other concern will be how much ink replacement will cost. Hopefully not too much, we shall see.
I was wanting a small printer that would fit on my desk and not take up a lot of space. This printer is very light weight and has a small footprint on the corner of my office desk. This is a breeze to set up and install. The printer can be setup for a wired USB installation or a wireless installation. I choose the wired installation for my needs, you will need a USB printer cable for this printer, it does not include the printer cable. Everything was in the box to get you started including some free office software, that was also a breeze to download and install. The instructions are easy to follow and the installation of the two included ink cartridges were a snap, they do require a little force to get them to lock in and then shut the access door, load with paper and let the tray down. Installation with Win 10 was easy and straight forward. I printed a test page and the ink was clear and very easy to read on the test page. This printer can be set up to print from your phone or tablet through a network or direct from your mobile device and you can print from anywhere, once you set up a HP account. I just need a printer to printer personal items when at the office and have the flexibility to send my coworkers a document when not at the office.
This printer is great for a small spaces and it has great printing ability.
The quality of the picture when printed is pristine. Has the capability
to also copy, scan and print from any mobile device which I think is a
great feature to have. It is easy to use and to install.
I would highly recommend this printer to any and everyone.
Compact super printer!
Having been a traveling manager for a large company before, I really wish I had this fantastic HP 3752 wireless compact on-the-road friendly printer at the time. It sure would have made my job of communicating with traveling co-workers so much easier and efficient. As long as you have cell service, you do not always need internet service to send this printer print jobs such as web documents, documents from your storage such as google drive or even your emails. I think this compact size would be a perfect space saver printer for college students. A perfect going-to-college gift!
I found the set up very easy. There are simple set up directions that includes a web site to download drivers and an app
Operation: It preforms the basic fax, 2 side printing, copy, scan, black & white + color printing and one of the things I love is that it uses just two HP 65 or HP 65 XL cartilages. It also has decent scan, print quality and an output speed of 5.5 pages per minute.
The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because you can always find a “better” printer. While this compact printer does not have the bells & whistles that a professional may need for high volume or special printer hobbies, I personally think that If you are looking for a no fuss, easy, super compact, portable and slightly above average printer, this is the printer of you.
If you need a small printer
This printer takes up very little space plus you have the options to print content from your tablet or phone as well as your computer so it's more versatile. This can be used both as a wired or a wireless printer however they don't include the cable for using it wired and they only included the power cord. It scans, prints and as a multifunctional printer it works fairly well. If you have to work in a small space or need a printer for a mobile office this might be the perfect solution. I'd suggest buying the USB cord though so you can use it wired anywhere you go.
Tiny printer with great features
I was surprised at the small size of this printer. It is almost 1/4 the size of my old all-in-one HP printer, yet it has most of the same features. The only thing missing is fax capability, which I never use much any more so I don't miss it. The paper feed tray pulls up out of the back and the catch tray pulls out of the front so this printer can be put just about anywhere, even in confined spaces. I love the wireless capability so I have 1 less cable to worry about, and I can put this printer on a shelf above my desk instead of having it right next to my computer. And printing from my Android phone is great - I can print family photos I take without having to send them to my computer first.
Printing is crisp and clear. I use the basic printer paper which works quite well for text and the photos, while not glossy, also turn out well.
Setup seems very straightforward. You can print out setup instructions by pressing a couple of buttons on the printer, but I recommend downloading and installing the software to your computer first. It does not come with a software disk so you have to download it from 123.hp.com.
The reason I gave 4 stars is because the wireless setup was a problem. I followed the instructions to the letter but I had to go through the troubleshooting steps several times before I could get it to work. Now it works and I'm happy.
Above average print quality, but slow print times
I did not expect to be impressed with this HP 3752 all in one printer. When something is touted as “world's smallest” I don't tend to equate it with quality. Small usually means cheaply made and not very functional. I was so wrong. This HP may be small, but it holds its own against full size all in one printers I've owned. I set it up to operate wirelessly only because I've already got a huge all in one connected by USB and I didn't want to have to run another cord. I usually don't even bother trying to set up a printer for wireless because it's been a nightmare and I've rarely succeeded. Somehow, some way the HP was able to connect after downloading some additional software. I tried to print a simple recipe wirelessly and it printed without issue. Scanning documents is a bit different with this unit as there's no flatbed to place the document on. You feed the document from the front face up and the rollers draw it in. Basically the rectangular piece that runs from left to right across the top is the scanner. I found the scanning speed to be on par with flatbed scanners. I can't comment on ink usage yet as I haven't printed enough. It uses the HP 65 black and 65 tri-color tanks which are widely available when I looked online. Print quality is better than expected for such an inexpensive printer. Black text is true black and bold with no bleeding. A color photo printed on plain copy paper on standard print quality came out clearer with brighter colors on the HP than it did on my brand name photo printer. That shocked me. The HP accepts 5x7 and 4x6 photo paper so I may be switching. The only negative I could find with the HP was printing was very slow. I guess that's the cost of the small footprint. If you can live with that, this is a pretty versatile little machine.
If you can get it set up, is really nice!
This is an extremely compact printers/scanner/copier.
It is light weight and prints quality images!
Use a USB to connect this to a computer, even wireless for the first time. (The USB is not included, but the $7 cost of the wire will save so much time on the initial set up.)
Although I cannot express enough how frustrating the wireless set up needlessly was.
- Printer prints quick start guide, but only one page because I had no idea it would start printing,.
- Download software
- Requires a reboot
- Wants me to download again after reboot
- 3 more tries and I have to remove power to the printer for the download on my computer to work? (There is no network or physical connection from printer to computer at this point)
- Won't detect network
- Prints the full 2 page quick start guide
- Attempt the connection methods
- Prints a "get most out of printer" page instead
- Told I need to go to the EWS with the URL it printed, doesn't go anywhere
- Told I need the WPS PIN, prints a 3 page document showing it recognizes not only my wifi network, but 5 others, still refuses to connect with wireless
- Finally get a USB printer cable (not provided) and plug it into my computer, now it will wireless connect but requires a few more minutes of declining a subscription based ink program.
So I got it to print on the wireless network after losing about 8 pages and however much black and color ink to do so.
And it was a clear and beautiful picture.
The star rating suffered because of the trouble to get it set up, when including the USB printer cable could have saved me 90 minutes, a lot of eye rolling, and all the needless printing of guides and welcome pages.
Works ok after initial setup
The size and design of this printer is awesome. It's small and compact so you have more options on where to store it. Setup took a lot longer than it should. There isn't any software for it. It's all done through the website. But it's not simple. My husband works in IT and it still took him a little time to navigate through it. Seems like you really need to know what you're doing because I wouldn't have even known to do some if the steps he did. It took about an hour and even once it was all installed some of the features were being difficult.... like putting a password on it so outside people can't connect to it. It kept resetting. Once all was said and done it printed nice. The color is good. It is a little slow but I think a lot of printers are. The scanning feature is cool. Only downside is the paper feeds through, it's not a flat scanner. So you are limited on what you can scan. So it's cool for basics but probably not a gear idea if you print a ton.
