Upgrading from my Windows XP unit to this Windows 7 PC has been great! The i5 processor is lightning fast compared to my previous Celeron. My old machine took 8 minutes to boot up. This one takes 45 seconds from pushing the start button to desktop. My old XP took 2-3 minutes to access the internet. This one takes 6 seconds.
The 8 GB of memory seems to be plenty for what I do (internet surfing and video watching with some documents being produced). It also loads music and burns music to discs very quickly. I have not tried the DVD burner yet.
This unit was advertised as coming with a 1TB hard drive which would have been plenty for me, but, this one actually came with a 2 TB hard drive. That is plenty of room for my photos, videos, and music collection.
I'm sure the graphics card in this unit is better than my old one too since everything on the monitor is much clearer than before.
If you are a techy and know how to work on these things you'll love the handle on top of the case that allows easy access to the inside of this unit. There are no screws to deal with. Just lift the built-in handle and the case opens right up. Even I can do it! Then, everything inside is easily accessible.
Set-up on this unit is very easy. Even I could do that too! It only took a few minutes.
This unit lays flat on my desktop, which I like. I put my monitor on top of it and everything is within reach. I also now have more legroom under my desk.
I have owned this PC for a little over 2 weeks and I absolutely love it.
If you want to stick with Windows 7, like I did, I would highly recommend this unit.
It comes with excellent hardware, set-up is easy, and it is also very quiet. It may be the best Christmas present I have ever bought myself.

First one arrived damaged so I was refunded and reordered. Second one has issues that the remanufacturer (JOY Systems) should have addressed but could NEVER be contacted either by phone or online . Should have bought new.

I purchased this for my mom for Mother's day. It arrived clean, professionally packed, very little cosmetic scratches, with a larger hard drive than stated, and a new wired usb keyboard and wired usb optical mouse. Oh, and it has a DVD RW drive as well.. These guys actually refurbish these off-lease computers and test them. It's running like a champ, and my mom is loving it. It's more power than she needs, but that makes her Facebook and email and surfing so effortless with no waiting for things to load. I highly recommend. It takes her 30 secs to get to the desktop, and her mail or browsers immediately load. If her system drive dies after 90 days, I got her covered with an external backup to reload the system image to a new harddrive. Awesome Sauce....
Picked up at store. It was easy and quick experience. Item took them a week from ordered online.
it was well packaged, it provided a keyboard and a mouse. I hooked up to my own monitor and followed package boot up instruction without any problem. Hard drive was advertised as 1 TB but I got it as 2 TB, so it was great!
The only problem I got was the dvd-rom cannot eject. I had to use a paper clip and used the small narrow clip to manually pulled out the drive. After that, I have no problem close it and re-open it. So I can say it was the only drew back.. could be due to when the item shipped?
Everything went smoothly.. update all the windows 7 updates, etc.. no problem. I purchased additional 2 years plan just in case..

I bought this refurbished computer in February 2020. These computers were initially made for Windows 7, but now they come with Windows 10. (Win 7 is no longer supported by Microsoft). So when you will start the computer it will not boot and give you an error message (Non-system disk or disk error). For those who have no computer knowledge will be stuck right at the start. It will only boot further if you use Alt+Ctrl+Delete and you have to do this every time you start this computer.
It is is refurbished by Joy systems. I called them and the support informed me that HP SFF 6200 and 8000 series have this issue, otherwise there is no issue with the hark drive. Normally if you get this error it means your hard drive is failing or there is some installation issue. You will only experience this issue with Windows 10, not with Windows 7.
Joy systems should disclose this problem on the website, so customers should be aware of this problem before making any decision to buy with this glitch. Customer service informed be only when I called, after holding for 15 minutes. Sad that customer service is going down the drain. First time bought a refurbished desktop that is refurbished by Joy Systems and ended u with this problem on the first day. Be Honest, please.
