Excellent Purchase of 2-in-1
I bought this laptop for my husband as a Christmas gift and he loves it. It does and has everything he needs for work and play. The processor is fast, loads up quickly from the power button, has face recognition to get to the start home page, the sound is incredible as well as the picture. It also has a full keyboard that is backlit which my husband really insisted on. It is very lightweight and fits perfect in his different bags for work. This laptop was a steal at the price and deal I got it in store at Walmart. They even price matched it from the online sale price. A top quality 2-in-1 out there on the market. I will update this review if anything changes but so far it has been amazing for my husband and his new favorite toy.

SUCKS
If I could give this zero stars, I would. Poor quality in EVERY ASPECT OF THIS COMPUTER. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. I can't wait to return this item and never buy another HP laptop again.

Perfect as soon as I opened it. The tablet mode makes playing games easy
First I have one doubt I purchased HP laptop in Walmart USA two day's back now I am in India can use it ?because in India 220w power is there is it any problem in charging mode.

Laptop

Best laptop I've ever owned! Touch screen and 1 TB of Storage. Graphics are better than most TVs.

Very good

Pros: Beautifully built. Very well balanced. Backlit keyboard helps a ton at night. Super sensitive touch screen. Ultra convenient 3D front facing cameras. Feels like “just the right size” when folded closed. Cons: Really terrible sound quality from what's supposed to be a Harmon Kardon designed system. No stylus provided.

SUCKS

If I could give this zero stars, I would. Poor quality in EVERY ASPECT OF THIS COMPUTER. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. I can't wait to return this item and never buy another HP laptop again.

Optane memory isn't a replacement for RAM.

Within the first week after purchase I did an HP update and the computer failed. Windows would not load. I used the recovery partition to get it working again but it took several tries before I was finally able to load Windows. It again wanted to do the HP updates and it again failed. This time after recovering Windows I kept declining the HP updates. After a couple months of telling it I didn't want to do the updates I tried to delete the HP support assistant app so it would stop asking. Then I started receiving notifications of a file missing. It was then working fine except for the notification randomly popping up. That went on for another couple months. Recently my email program was showing 18 unread emails but when I went to read them all of my emails were gone and it looked like the email wasn't even set up. Then my Windows OneDrive kept saying it needed to be set up. I could no longer use face recognition to log into Windows. It would just get stuck until I bypassed it and typed in my password. I ran virus scans and no viruses were found. I decided to try the recovery drive again and reset it back to factory condition. It reinstalls and gets to the point where it looks like it's going to start windows and then it goes into a restart loop and will continue to do that until I stop it. I didn't want to sit on the phone with HP or send my laptop to them since my vacation starts soon and I wanted to have a working laptop so I went to the HP website and ordered the recovery USB flash drive (about $50 after shipping) for this laptop to see if that would get it working again. I was hoping maybe the recovery partition on my computer had and issue and the new recovery usb flash drive would work. I ran it and the same thing happened. It goes into a reboot loop that never ends. If I could do it over again I would never have purchased this laptop and now that I understand better what the Intel Optane memory is and that this laptop really only has 4 gb of ram I'm really disappointed I didn't do more research and buy a better laptop. Unfortunately when I bought it the price was even higher than it is now. After taxes it was close to $1000. This computer is not worth anything close to that amount even when it is working. My experience has been that it's a beautiful piece of garbage. Now I'm using my old Samsung laptop again. I bought it in 2012 and it still works perfectly and has never had a problem but unfortunately it has no touchscreen. That's really the biggest reason I wanted a newer one and I hoped the new HP would be a lot faster but the difference is barely noticable. I guess I will have to send the HP in and hopefully they can get it working. I worry I will continue to have problems with it in the future. I may end up just buying a new Samsung laptop next year with more ram and get what I was hoping for in the first place. Reliability with more speed. I had problems with HPs years ago and wasn't going to go back to them again but I did and now I regret it.

Do not buy

This is by far the worst laptop I have ever owned within a month the laptop kept going into configuration mode
