If you have read anything about the Halo, you know why I bought it! It swaddled baby, keeps them feeling like Mommy is holding them, safe and secure! Now as soon as she puts it on him at night, at bedtime, he smiles and is asleep within a couple minutes! Baby sleeps the entire night, and has from just a couple weeks old! If Baby wants to break away from the Halos Swaddle, he can, and does. This is a miracle item, and a must have for every infant! Go and read more about THE HALO! I wish they had them when my kids were babies! This is the second one I bought, the first was a heavy winter fleece one, this is a spring/summer cool cotton one! I can't say enough about this item, you simply must order one for your baby, you will be so happy you did! You won't believe it!

Worth it's weight in gold
We were given one of these as a gift from the hospital I gave birth at, and after using many other kinds of swaddles this one is by far our favorite. We used it so much we had to buy another to always have a backup when one is dirty. It's really hard for him to get his hands loose in the night, and he sleeps so soundly, it's just the right thickness for summer. The only thing I would change is to maybe make the wrap around part shorter and for it to be a little longer in the legs. My boy is 23" long and his feet touch the bottom seam in newborn size, yet it's really difficult to change his diaper without Unswaddling him entirely. My kid might just have a long torso.
Our daughter is 4 months old and had outgrown her other swaddle blankets so I decided to try the Halo sleepsack. Very happy we did. I love the fact that you can change a diaper in the middle of the night without having to remove the blanket entirely, the zipper goes up. Also you can swaddle arms in or out, so for early morning feedings you can wrap baby with arms out and when ready to go back to sleep just re-wrap the arms, no taking baby in and out of swaddle blanket. We actually need to purchase another one.
Beats using a blanket to swaddle...
These things are great! My 6 week old is able to break out of a receiving blanket when used to swaddle but the Velcro on the halo helps to secure his arms. The only problem is the item has to be washed separately and line dried because the Velcro will attach to other items of clothing and snag them. Also when unwrapping the baby the removal of the Velcro makes a loud noise which startles and sometimes wakes my baby.
Excellent for Infants
I bought this for my 3 week old son (he's around 10lbs+ and 22 inches tall) and I got the size small. It should last him for a long time as it is still very long! I did think that it would be made of a thicker, more fleecy type material, but it is made of something thinner. Still warm and soft, just a bit thinner and larger than I expected. (Maybe it read this in the description and I missed it?). Despite this, we use it every night and it works well. Great value, and we're getting our money out of it for sure!
Safe Sleeping for Your Baby is Priceless
I love these in the Winter (Also made in Fleece but don't recommend as babies can overheat). We live in the PA area and our winters are cold and I found it perfect to put our newborn in a long sleeve onesie and inside this swaddler. In the summer I use a short sleeve onesie and these cotton swaddlers. Our December baby is 4 months now and I wouldn't allow him to sleep without these. I did buy a lighter muslim swaddler for the nights we don't use our air conditioner but this is rare as we're on a second floor and we've been using the air for the few weeks on and off (it's mid June here now). Only a few nights I used a short sleeve onesie and muslim swaddle without air...Otherwise back to the heavier cotton for air conditioned nights. OUR BABIES sleep EXTREMELY well swaddled. DON'T LISTEN TO PEOPLE WHO SAY "Oh my baby didn't like to be swaddled". All babies will fuss when you swaddle them. When they are NEWBORN they don't care at all but at 2 months sometimes they don't like to be kept tight. The TRICK we use is we rock our baby and leave the wraps undone until we put him down and gently close it nice and snug. Again...it stops their hands from jerking and scaring them awake!!!!! WORKS!!!!
