I have 7 Greenworks products

I have purchased 7 Greenworks products and a totally satisfied with all of them. Every one of them do exactly what I want it to do and are so easy to use. Great time on batteries and light and easy to work.

    40V G-Max chainsaw Greenworks

Does everything that a gas pruning saw does, weight about 1 1/2 pounds heavier. Handle a 10 inches tree and all limbs cut up. Battery used 1/2 of charge . Quiet great for stop and start.

    Tough little saw

I bought several of the Greenworks tools , some as bare tools and some with a battery and charger. If you look and compare costs of bare tools and kits you can save a pile of money. That being said Wal-Mart offers this saw for $50 on sale so how can you go wrong. I bought the 40v G-MAX tools so the 2 tools I bought with batteries work on the 2 tools I bought without them. This saw is $100 more with the battery & charger , The hedge clippers were only $40 more with the battery & charger , The blower was $70 more with a battery , and the pole saw was only $30 more with the battery & charger . I didnt buy them all from Wal-Mart but they are all great tools and I love them

    works good

If you know how to read it states that it doesn't come with battery and charger. Nor are they in the picture...

    OK, good not great.

Light, handy size, I wish the chain was the same as the pole saw. This chain doesn't catch or cut as well as the pole saw. Still, it works and has plenty of power. It is possible the rough sawing is due to the combination of widely spaced teeth and a relatively slow speed.
    Hello jabusse
We are sorry to hear about the trouble you are having with your chain saw. A cold chain is correctly tensioned when there is no slack on the underside of the guide bar, the chain is snug, but it can be turned by hand without binding. A chain tensioned while warm, may be too tight upon cooling. Check the “cold tension” before next use. New chain tends to stretch; check chain tension frequently and tension as required.
Please consider contacting us directly at 888-909-6757 or on info@greenworkstools.com.
