I couldn't wait to get a couple of jars. I'm from the MS delta, and we live by Koop-Aid pickles. However, this product fell a little short of the down home taste I'm accustomed to. Thankfully I got a head's up from 3 friends (while I was in the store) that they weren't that great (I was sending pictures of my new found guilty pleasure). So, I had the bright idea to scoop up some back up. I bought a variety of flavors of regular $0.25 packs of Kool-Aid. When I got home, I did not chill first, but opened a jar to immediately taste-test instead. It reminded me of a deli pickle you get from McAlister's, crossed with Gherkins & a little punch flavor. So, I put a packet of tropical punch Kool-Aid in it, shook it up, and let it sit on the counter overnight. The result was sooooooo much better. Very close to the down south Kool-Aid pickles, making this like a "starter" jar to choose & make your own flavor more quickly. My next jar will be cherry, then grape - all in moderation of course. The possibilities are endless. Oh, yeah, watch out now!!!
Btw: WalMart, I'll be glad to work with you guys to help with some struggling concepts. When word about this idea gets out and it becomes a hit, just give me a call ;-)
