I use these bags practically every day. I use them for a lot of different things. i use them to divide pack of meats into single servings before putting in freezer. This way i can take out 1 or more servings to prepare depending on how many i find myself fixing for. if I'm the only one here then i use one pack without thawing out the whole package of meat and cooking more than needed. it helps me not to waste food by over cooking required servings. i also use these to put food scraps in so i can put in trash and take it out the next day. keeps trash can clean, holds down unpleasant smells and does not attract bugs.

Then as I got older I discovered that these work a lot better at keeping the stuff inside nicer and the outside stuff outside. The zipper bags are great if you get in and out a lot. But the seal is not as tight
